Unbelievable, Alex Neiers star of E! Show “Pretty Wild” and member of the “Bling Gang” was released from Lynwood Correctional Facility tonight. The teen burglar, served only 30 days of a six month sentence. In a twist of fate, she was in the same jail as Lindsay Lohan, one of the victims of the “Bling Gang.”
A few months ago, Alex Neiers, pleaded no contest to felony burglary in connection with a break-in at actor Orlando Bloom’s home. She was part of the “Bling Gang” who stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry, clothing and other items from Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Orlando Bloom.
Officials say Alexis Neiers was released tonight from the Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood due to overcrowding. If Alex was already released for committing a felony, why in the heck is Lindsay Lohan still in jail over a DUI? Lindsay, the victim of Alex Neiers crime is going to serve more time than this girl? WOW!
Our system is CRAZY. If it was anyone else, they would be serving several years in prison over this. Hopefully, Alex Neiers will do something positive with her life now and be thankful that the system was so lenient on her. One lucky girl.
Lindsay Lohan, party girl and former movie star, is adjusting well to prison life, according to jail sources at the Lynwood facility. Even though Lindsay’s in solitary confinement, the guards have allowed her special privileges that include two changes of clothing, daily showers and even family visits. The only special privilege Lindsay Lohan didn’t get was to keep her fake eyelashes and extensions. What?
When Lynwood prison staff told how Lohan – inmate 24097527 – they had to go, she began crying hysterically. A source added: “She just sat there with tears streaming down her face and couldn’t even bring herself to take them out herself. It was a sorry sight.”
Yesterday, her mom Dina Lohan and sister Ali went to visit her for a couple of hours. Today, her ex girlfriend Samantha Ronson paid a visit as well. What about Daddy Dearest, Michael Lohan? Well, he has a few legal problems of his own. His former fiance, Kate, filed a domestic violence charges against him and as of today he has a restraining order against him. Nice work Dad.
Although Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days, due to overcrowding of the Lynwood jail, Lindsay is expected to break free on August 3rd, after only serving two weeks. Afterward, Lindsay Lohan will be hustled off to a court approved rehab facility where she will complete a 90 day treatment program. I wonder if she will get to have her hair extensions put back in. Stay tuned.
In a twist of fate, Lindsay Lohan who started serving her 90 day sentence at Lynwood County jail, will be bunking in the same facility as Alexis Neiers. Alexis was recently sentenced to six months in jail over the Bling gang who broke into homes of Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom and even robbed Lindsay Lohan’s house. That’s going to be awkward.
Although Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail, based on overcrowding she will probably get out of Lynwood within 15 days. Alexis Neiers on the other hand, will probably not be as lucky, after all she plead guilty to a felony.
LA Times Reports, Alexis Neiers, the 19-year-old Calabasas girl best known for her E! Entertainment reality show “Pretty Wild, is serving a 180-day sentence for felony first-degree residential burglary of Orlando Bloom’s home. She had pleaded no contest to charges against her in connection with the “bling ring” burglary crew that targeted celebrity homes, including Lohan’s Hollywood Hills residence.
According to her mom (or someone claiming to be her), Andrea Neiers Arlington, recently commented on a Hollywood News message board said the following: This information is not correct. Alexis was never a suspect in any of the other Bling Ring Robberies, and accepted a plea bargain bc facing a jury with Orlando Bloom testifying against her and a maximum prison sentence of 6 years in state prison for a crime she never committed, was not recommended by her attorney Jeff Rubenstein. You people should get your facts straight if you are journaling the truth. Her story has never been told, but it will be and your readers and the rest of the world will understand she is innocent.
It sounds like MaMa Bear is still in denial. Maybe Andrea should get together with Dina Lohan to share war stories, or parenting tips. Hopefully, Lindsay’s her short term stay in Lynwood jail and rehab, will skyrocket her back to stardom, just like it did for Robert Downey Jr. once he got sober.
If you haven’t watched “Pretty Wild” yet, you may want to skip it. I’m still trying to figure out how celebrity burglar Alexis Neiers and her two sisters got their own E! reality show? Was it because she robbed Orlando Bloom’s, Paris Hilton’s and several other celebrities homes? If so, E! needs to hire a new Head of Development.
Pretty Wild gives television viewers an “unfiltered look” at Hollywood and what it’s like to be three hot sisters who have no self control. The only normal one in the bunch is Gabrielle Neiers, who at 15 seems to have maintained some innocence by working at a pet store.
Tess Taylor, the oldest sister and Playboy cybergirl is suppose to be the star of the show. Instead, she comes across as insecure and whiny girl who chases wannabe rockers around town. In a recent interview, Tess revealed she’s secretly in love with Brandon Boyd of Incubus. Also, that she thinks boys are fun, sexy, and drama bringers. Hmmm, I think she could reserve the drama title for her little sis, Alexis Neiers.
The big show shocker is Alexis Neiers being arrested for being one of the members of a celebrity burglar gang. Proclaiming her innocence throughout the show, the s**t finally hit the fan when she had to plead no contest to the charges. Only receiving a six month jail sentence for stealing over $600k in jewelry and other celebrity property, she should consider herself one lucky girl. She should have gotten six years.
Alexis who claimed she was ready to go to trial, decided to take the plea bargain because Orlando Bloom was going to testify against her. She says, “I thought we were going to trial and we had a great shot at this,” she said. “I had been so confident because I had thought up until this point that I didn’t do anything wrong.”
As for what piece of information led to her flip-flop, Neiers isn’t saying, though last week’s word that Bloom planned to face off against her in court wasn’t the best news she’s ever received.
“I think the fact that Orlando Bloom [would testify], and the weight of a celeb testifying against Alexis, made us realize the odds were stacked against us,” her lawyer, Jeffrey Rubenstein, said yesterday. “This was a last-minute decision. We were ready for trial.”
Chances are we will have to suffer through one more season of Pretty Wild, E! will want viewers to have front row seats to all the drama when Alexis has to go to jail on June 24th. Maybe they will change the show name to Pretty Desperate.
