AMERICAN IDOL Spoiler Predictions, Nicki Minaj Battles Diva Mariah Carey Over Top 12!
On this weeks highly anticipated episode of American Idol, viewers didn’t get exactly what they were looking for. As we know a few months ago, there was leaked footage online showing a very irritated Nicki Minaj cursing out the Queen Diva Mariah Carey. The nasty argument erupted over the judges critiques of American Idol hopeful, Summer Cunningham.
With the gossip surrounding the Idol footage, many of us expected to see more of the dramafest and predictions of who would make the finals. Instead we saw a much calmer Nicki Minaj a Sagittarius girl, who was a bit frustrated over the other three judge’s critique on Idol contestant Summer Cunningham, who sang “Lean On Me.”
After her performance was over, Keith Urban asked Cunningham what kind of music artist she thinks she is because the judges saw her more as a country singer. She responded “I did the country thing already…I think I’m more of a soulful country singer.”
That comment struck a nerve with Keith Urban a particular Scorpio dude as he then responded, “I don’t get when people say I did the country thing. It’s like a Doctor saying I did the surgeon thing. It’s either your Country or not.” Don’t mess with a Scorpio!
Mariah and Randy agreed, identifying Summer Cunningham as country as well. Leaving Nicki Minaj, more and more irritated shown in her defiant body language and the pissed look on her face. Minaj like a true Sagittarius girl decided she couldn’t take the judge’s critiques anymore, she had to speak her mind.
“Why are we picking her apart?” Minaj asked after Carey questioned whether the contestant’s voice was best suited for country music. “Really? Is that what I did?” responded Carey. “We’re trying to help her as opposed to just talk about her outfit.” Minaj then responded, “Oh, you’re right. I’m sorry I can’t help her. Maybe I should just get off the f***** panel,” she said before walking off the set.
As Minaj left, Carey an Aries girl, who fancies herself as the lead judge on American Idol, continued on with her side comments. Even referring to Minaj storming off, “I was going to do that the next time she ragged on me.”
American Idol is going to be a very interesting season, with one Sagittarius and one Aries on panel, who are total divas. Do you think Nicki Minaj was right about the judges picking the contestant apart? Or were the judges doing exactly they’re are suppose to do in a Idol competition?
