Who will be crowned the winner for Best Picture and Best Actor? Astrochicks has consulted the stars and checked out the Sports Betting Dime odds, here’s the latest astrology predictions on which celebrity will win.
Astrologically speaking, Sun in Capricorn is a practical guy, he’s going to choose the “expected winner” for the male Actor category. Moon in Gemini will cause some technical difficulties, lots of laughs and an overall entertaining show. Venus in Capricorn will square Mars in Libra, leaving several unhappy campers on who wins the Golden Globe. Will Leonardo DiCaprio a Scorpio be robbed of a coveted Golden Globe again? Sadly, we think he will, but we HOPE we’re wrong. Love Leo in Wolf of Wall Street.
The stars will shine bright on Christian Bale an Aquarius, who we predict will win a Golden Globe as Best Actor in a Comedy. Although, Astrochicks thinks that Matthew McConaughey a Sag deserves Best Actor for Dallas Buyers Club, our Astrology prediction is Chiwetel Ejiofor will steal the spotlight.
For our lovely ladies, Sandra Bullock a Leo should win a Golden Globe for Gravity. Also, Astrochicks predicts that Julia Louis-Dreyfus a Capricorn will grab an award for Enough Said. A possible show shocker but it’s Capricorn’s night to go big or go home.
When it comes to Golden Globe crowning the Best Picture, there were so many stellar movies last year. Sports Betting Dime predicts that American Hustle and Gravity are the top contenders. The cosmos agree! For more predictions, you can check out all the deets here. Enjoy!
The new Bachelor, Juan Pablo, has added some Latin flava this season to the popular reality show. The single papa, who’s looking for his future wife, has 27 lovely ladies to choose from. Will he find his Cinderella or will he say, hell to the no, for a future wedding? Warning, Juan Pablo, Bachelor spoilers ahead.
Born under the astrology sign of Leo, Juan Pablo, lives for the spotlight. King of all Spoilers, Reality Steve, accuses the Latin hunk of being a fame whore. He believes Bachelor Juan Pablo is still with his baby mama and in the end, will choose not to get engaged. Is it true?
Astrologically speaking, Sun in Leo likes to shine his love on his family and friends. Leo men are very loyal, who would do anything for their loved ones, and this is especially true of Bachelor Juan Pablo. With his sexy charm and crazy sense of humor, he can woo almost any girl he chooses. Except if you’re an Opera singer.
Bachelor Juan Pablo has Moon in Libra, which makes him romantic and sweet, he hates to hurt anyone’s feelings. His Venus in Virgo, makes him attracted to more conservative chicks, which would explain his strange infatuation with the Opera singer, Sharleen. Really Juan Pablo? You gave HER the first impression rose? YUCK! Sharleen acts like she has a stick up her ass, Astrochicks is not loving her.
This year, Saturn in Scorpio will square Bachelor Juan Pablo’s, Leo Sun. What does that mean astrologically? LOTS OF DRAMA! Astrochicks predicts he will be conflicted in love. He desperately wants to be married, have more kids, but we don’t believe his future wife is on the Bachelor. Just as Reality Steve predicted. In fact, Astrochicks predicts Bachelor Juan Pablo will get married in two years, but she will not be the winner of the show.
The good news is the Bachelor Juan Pablo season will be full of cat fights and fun! Leo’s love all the fuss, we think he will secretly enjoy all the attention. Also, Astrochicks predicts that he has a LONG future in television, we can expect our Bachelor stud to extend his 15 minutes of fame on Dancing With the Stars and future acting roles. In a long and distinguished acting career (although it eternally seems he just burst onto the scene), Will Ferrell has forged countless memorable characters out of a certain comedic fearlessness and a version of artistic shape-shifting that somehow always stays true to a strong, discernable personality. He certainly minted a whole stable of them at Saturday Night Live, on which he chewed the scenery from 1995 to 2002: There were his impersonations of Alex Trebek, Neil Diamond, James Lipton, Robert Goulet, and George W. Bush, for example, and a slew of concocted characters, including half (opposite Rachel Dratch) the overbearingly erotic, hot-tub-frequenting academic “Lovers” couple and a Spartan cheerleader. It’s possible none of those SNL creations are quite as renowned as his impossibly genius turn as the fictional Gene Frenkle, providing the titular musical support in the now-legendary “More Cowbell” sketch featuring Christopher Walken and a reenacted Blue Öyster Cult recording session–a 2000 skit that has truly taken on a life of its own.
Following his departure from SNL, Ferrell made an extremely successful transition to the big screen–a feat only occasionally achieved by veterans of Lorne Michaels’ long-running series. (We think of Mike Myers, Kristen Wiig, Eddie Murray, Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, and Bill Murray on the one hand; on the other–the ignoble one, for better or worse–we think of Jim Breuer, Norm Macdonald, and Rob Schneider.) “Extremely” may really be an understatement: Fresh off the sketch-comedy warhorse, Ferrell quickly made a name for himself with Old School and Elf (since become one of those perennial holiday classics, alongside It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story). Soon enough he was cementing his status as a box-office powerhouse with farces such as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Blades of Glory, and Semi-Pro. He’s also notably stretched his dramatic muscles in high-end fare such as Melinda and Melinda, Stranger Than Fiction, and Everything Must Go. In 2012, he performed in (and produced) a tongue-in-cheek parody of the Mexican telenovela, Casa de Mi Padre, his dialogue entirely in Spanish.
That impressive C.V. notwithstanding, one of Ferrell’s most memorable characters is undoubtedly Ron Burgundy, the vainglorious 1970s San Diego news anchor–“kind of a big deal,” as he so indelibly summarized himself–who “anchored” the 2004 film, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, directed by Ferrell’s habitual writing partner Adam McKay. Ferrell is again sporting that impeccable mane and unmistakable moustache in a long-gestating sequel, set to debut this Christmas: Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
Burgundy’s clueless pomposity, his cockeyed virility, and his blundering response to shifting cultural trends–the first Anchorman revolves around competition to Burgundy’s top slot by a newswoman played by Christina Applegate–have apparently endeared him to audiences. The original–which also starred Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn, Fred Willard, and a who’s-who of Frat Pack cameos—grossed better than $85 million at home in the U.S. and earned another $5 million or so internationally. Despite that success, it’s taken nearly a decade to see the second installment hit theaters–and not for lack of trying.
Lately, though, Ron Burgundy has been everywhere–not least in an extensive and hilarious series of autumn ads for the new Dodge Durango, a campaign that has apparently paid off handsomely for the auto maker: Forbes reported a 59-percent boost in Durango sales during October 2013 compared with last year.
Before the sequel, it’s worth revisiting the beautiful absurdity of the original; if you’re looking to sell your old DVD copy, visit this website for a ready marketplace.
San Diego’s finest news team is back–ready, or not, for the ’80s. Burgundy’s set for a primetime slot, and the world’s eagerly awaiting.

Zac Efron has kept a low dating profile and has not had a serious girlfriend since Vanessa Hudgens. Laser focused on his acting career, Efron has mentioned in previous interviews, he hopes to follow in the career footsteps of Leo DiCaprio. What does the future hold for this sweet Hollywood hunk?
Born under the sign of Libra, Zac Efron, definitely knows how to make the ladies swoon. When it comes to relationships, he can be quite indecisive. He loves you, he loves you not. With the Libra man, your romance can swinging wildly, leaving you feeling a bit anxious about your boyfriend status.
When it comes to Zac Efron’s personal life, according to TMZ, has been living life in the fast lane. If rumors are true, he recently completed rehab for a serious cocaine addiction and other sources claim Efron dabbled in Ecstacy as well. YIKES!
It’s no secret, Zac Efron likes to party and his squeaky clean Disney image is definitely OVER. We’re told his drug problem spiraled out of control during the filming of Seth Rogen’s movie “Neighbors,” and that Efron missed several days on the movie set. Forcing the actor to accept he had a drug problem and he quickly entered rehab.

Charlie Hunnam is ready to show his kinky side, starring as Christian in the hotly anticipated film, Fifty Shades of Grey. Winning the coveted role, over a few fan favorites including: Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer and reportedly Robert Pattinson turned it down. Is Charlie Hunnam sexy and freaky enough to play Christian Grey?
Born under the zodiac sign of Aries, Charlie Hunnam a fire sign, would make him adventurous, passionate hunter, who would love risky sex and probably likes it rough. A vivid imagination, Aries men love women who harbor a wild imagination, who like to get their freak on. Sounds like Christian Grey to Astrochicks.
What does Charlie Hunnam think about the Fifty Shades of Grey casting choice for Anastasia Steele? “As soon as we got in the room and started reading with Dakota, I knew that I definitely wanted to do it, because there was a tangible chemistry between us,” Hunnam told The Hollywood Reporter. “It felt kind of exciting and fun and weird and compelling, and so that was it.” Hmm, I guess he liked our Libra girl, they say opposites attract.
Does Charlie Hunnam have a girlfriend and what does she think about him starring in Fifty Shades of Grey? Hunnam does have a long term lady love, jewelry designer Morgana McNelis.
“It’s very hard to be with an actor,” Hunnam said. “She’s required to share parts of me that she wouldn’t really want to share. With the nature of this role, that’s going to be times 10.” Charlie quickly added that she LOVED the Fifty Shades of Grey books. I guess Morgana will get to practice all the scenes with her man.
Astrologically speaking, Astrochicks thinks that Charlie Hunnam’s portrayal as Christian in Fifty Shades, will leave fans pleasantly surprised. Not only will he embrace the role, we think he will a few awards for his role. Mark your calendars, Fifty Shades of Grey will be released the summer of 2014. Enjoy!
