FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Casting Rumors, Alexander Skarsgard and Emma Watson?

true blood alexander skarsgardFifty Shades of Grey casting rumors have hit a new high. After a studio exec’s email was hacked a source claims that Emma Watson is the number one choice to play Anastasia Steele.  From Harry Potter to Fifty Shades that’s quite a leap. Is it true of false? Here’s the latest update on EL James sexy novel and all our favorite Fifty Shades rumors.

A hacker collective named ANonymous, with hacker team M3du5a stole and published documents from Constantin Film’s internal server. One document says Emma Watson is attached to star in Fifty Shades of Grey. After Hollywood Reporter made the announcement, studio execs immediately denied they had chosen anyone. Is it because they’re still waiting on who would play Christian Grey?

No doubt, whoever is cast for Fifty Shades of Grey, Astrochicks thinks  it will be one of the biggest entertainment stories of the year. We’re not sold on Emma Watson, who’s born under the zodiac sign Aries, who’s not a shy or demure girl. She’s fierce, independent and very outspoken. Other actresses who have been attached to Fifty Shades casting rumors include Mila Kunis, who we think is a better choice.

For Christian Grey, Astrochicks thinks he’s the most important choice to carry the movie. Several movies stars have been mentioned including: Chris Hemsworth a Capricorn, Ian Somerholder a Sagittarius, Ryan Gosling a Scorpio, Matt Bomer a Libra and Alexander Skarsgard a Virgo.

Astrologically speaking, Scorpios like Ryan Gosling have a reputation of being wild in bed, but Virgo men like Skarsgard definitely have a freaky streak.  In a recent red carpet interview, Skarsgard admitted he would LOVE to do the film. For Astrochicks, we would love to see Chris Hemsworth or Alexander Skarsgard, we think Mila Kunis would make an excellent choice for Anastasia as well.

For EL James, she has a new book for fans who are budding writers. Titled,  Shades of Grey: Inner Goddess, which will be released on May 1, is a “writer’s journal.” James reportedly wrote the forward, shared some excerpts from her Fifty Shades series, and provided a music playlist that she listened to while writing. The book will also have blank pages on which women can brainstorm ideas for their own books. Gee, I’m sure she will sell millions of those too.

When is the film start date? Currently, Fifty Shades of Grey is in pre production and the script is being written now.  Universal and Focus Features announced that Kelly Marcel will write the screenplay for the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

  1. Henry Cavill would be terrible as Christian Grey, he would have to try and walk and act at the same time, something that he not capable of. Let him stick with his CGI cape, all he has to do is stand there and look good, no acting required, he CAN do that, and the no acting required is good, when it comes to him 😉 Alex Skarsgard or Chris Hemsworth would be the perfect actors for the role. I am open for Anna, as long as she does not look to worldly.

  2. Amanda Seyfreid is the perfect Anastassia and I think Ryan Gosling is the perfect Christian Gray. JMHO

  3. Emma wouldn’t make a good Ana anyway. Mila Kunis? She doesn’t even look like the character is described, and she is definitely too sultry and exotic for this role. No way. I’d love to see Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones, Felicity Jones or Lily Collins take the role of Ana. As for Christian, Henry Cavill would hands down be the best Christian. He looks like he just walked right out of the book, resembling Christian nearly to a T, and he has the right vibe/persona.

  4. Alex Skarsgard or Chris Hemsworth would be inspired casting. As for Ms. Kunis, I don’t know, she is gorgeous, but she is a bit exotic as well. Don’t know if she could pull off the innocent vibe with any realism.
