love hip hop yandyOn Love & Hip Hop New York this week, Yandy and boyfriend Mandeecees faced a serious scare. It was revealed; their beautiful baby boy Amare faced serious kidney problems. Naturally, Yandy was on the verge of a nervous breakdown after she heard the news. Will baby Amare be okay?

Any parent would be worried if their baby had medical issues or needed surgery. Yandy’s boyfriend Mandeecees, stood by her side to comfort his Baby Mama and let her know that Amare would be alright. Thankfully, the surgery was a success and Amare was a strong little man.

In the Love & Hip Hop world of Jen and Consequence, there is still the battle of faith. Jen was raised in a very traditional Christian family, where holidays like Easter and Christmas are very important. Consequence is Muslim and wishes to raise their son Islamic. Jen wishes Consequence can come to a middle ground, which will allow their son to have some knowledge of the beliefs his mother was raised in as well. According to Consequence, you can’t raise a child half way in a religion. In other words it’s all or nothing.

The couple meets with Consequence’s spiritual leader to discuss their family issues and tells the couple that there is a way to compromise. He encourages them to reflect on their decision on how the baby will be raised. Ultimately, Consequence wants Jen to convert to the Muslim religion. This is clearly not a decision to take lightly, a persons religious values are sacred. Does a woman change her life and her beliefs because of a man? The only way any woman should consider that is if she does deep research about the religion, and truly believes the change is necessary and would benefit them both. Last but not least, this should only be considered if the two are definitely going to get married. When it comes to the baby, Astrochicks thinks the child should be introduced to both religions.

Moving on to Joe Budden and Tahiry, our girl believes Joe is still using drugs and wants him to take a drug test. Joe a Virgo is reluctant to take the test at first, until Tahiry gives him an ultimatum. She tells him its either he takes the test, or leaves her alone for good.  By setting more boundaries with him, she sends Joe a warning, don’t hit me up if you’re in trouble.

Tahiry has friends and family wondering if she’s still in love with Joe. After all, he has a girlfriend, shouldn’t she take of her man instead. Tahiry admits she loves Joe and can’t just turn her back on him when he’s in trouble. Once again this still makes me question his relationship with his current girlfriend.

Astrochicks predicts that in a future Love & Hip Hop episode, Joe will split with his current girlfriend and explore getting back together with Tahiry. Stay tuned. Giselle, follow me on Twitter.
