Will Lance Armstrong be forgiven after confessing his sins to Oprah? The disgraced cyclist bared his soul to the “Queen of Talk” and admits he lied about doping. Is it too late for the athlete to make amends or can Lance Armstrong reinvent himself?
For Lance Armstrong, he faces an uphill battle and several lawsuits. An insurance company that unsuccessfully withheld a $5 million bonus from Armstrong on the basis that he had cheated, are considering whether or not to sue Armstrong. If they do, the company, SCA Promotions, will seek $12 million, the total it paid Armstrong in bonuses and legal fees. Also, he’s lost over $75 million dollars in sponsorship fees.
For Armstrong’s family, his biggest hurdle was facing his family and admitting to his son he lied. Lance told Oprah, “I said, listen, there’s been a lot of questions about your dad, my career, whether I doped or did not dope, and I’ve always denied, I’ve always been ruthless and defiant about that, which is probably why you trusted me, which makes it even sicker,” Armstrong said he told his son, the oldest of his five children. “I want you to know it’s true.”
Born under the zodiac sign of Virgo, Lance Armstrong, has an obsessive compulsive personality. A perfectionist, who wants to be the best at all costs and thought he was smarter than most. Throw in some daddy issues, over being ignored by his biological father as a child, and battling cancer, he’s definitely a fighter.
Astrologically speaking, Lance will continue to rebuild his life over the next two years. Astrochicks predicts, Armstrong, will face new medical issues in 2015 and 2016, which may cause him to retire as an athlete forever. If he’s smart, he will dedicated his life to charity and education against doping. As a Virgo, he needs to embrace his humble side and focus on giving back instead of taking. Otherwise, he may find himself not only emotionally devastated and financially as well.
