ZERO DARK THIRTY Review, CIA Man Hunt and Death of Terrorist Osama Bin Laden!
Zero Dark Thirty chronicles the CIA’s hunt and death of Osama Bin Laden. The action packed film by Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal, the Academy Award-winning duo behind The Hurt Locker, reteam for the dark thriller that reveals the secret mission to track down the most wanted terrorist in the world.
The brilliantly crafted drama, stars Jessica Chastain as the CIA expert Maya, who’s obsessed in tracking down and killing Osama Bin Laden. After 9/11 terrorist attacks, the CIA is on a mission to interrogate suspected Al Qaeda agents across the globe and will stop at nothing to locate the elusive bin Laden.
Over the course of the next decade, numerous false leads and dead ends make the search for Bin Laden seem like a pipe dream. Meanwhile, numerous suicide bombings across the Middle East and Europe hint that Al Qaeda won’t go down without a fight. Then, just when it seems as if the trail of clues has finally dried up, an old piece of evidence leads Maya to a suspect who may work directly for Osama Bin Laden, leading to his capture and death.
No doubt, Zero Dark Thirty, will be another Oscar worthy movie for Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal. For Bigelow a Sagittarius, she’s the former wife of James Cameron and the first woman to win the Academy Award for Best Director for The Hurt Locker. Astrochicks believes she may be adding Oscar number two this year. An important and must see film! Don’t forget to buy your tickets at Fandango.
