MARK ZUCKERBERG Facebook Privacy Issues, Sister Randi Twitter Photo Freakout!
What are Mark Zuckerberg’s plans for Facebook in 2013? Will privacy be a major issue to tackle, after the Instagram snafu? Well, one person who’s EXTREMELY concerned about her privacy, especially when it comes to photos is his sister, Randi Zuckerberg.
This week, Randi Zuckerberg had a Twitter meltdown, after one of her photos was retweeted. OMG! Call the FBI, CIA, and the Twitter police. The photo is of the Zuckerberg family standing in a kitchen, looking at their phones with shocked but playful look on their faces. It was reportedly, a reaction to Facebook’s new Poke feature. So, what’s the big deal?
Randi Zuckerberg’s family photo appeared on her friend feed and was retweeted by Callie Schweitzer, who’s a friend of her sister. In the tweet, Schweitzer said “.@randizuckerberg demonstrates her family’s response to Poke #GAH pic.twitter.com/EHNwJ78b”.
In a reply, Zuckerberg said “@cschweitz not sure where you got this photo. I posted it to friends only on Facebook. You reposting it to Twitter is way uncool.” Here’s the boring and silly photo here.
Afterward, Randi demanded the photo to be deleted and Callie obliged. Naturally, Zuckerberg went to Twitter to complain she has no privacy, LOL! Perhaps, you tweet too much? If it wasn’t for normal people like us signing up for Facebook, her brother wouldn’t be a zillionaire. Get over it!
I guess, since Randi Zuckerberg is born under the sign of Pisces, that makes her extra sensitive when it comes to family. BUT, we will in a social media world her brother basically created, so if she wants to complain, she should speak with him.
Personally, I think they should be concerned about more important social issues like gun control, unemployment, and the looming fiscal cliff. That’s right, she only has RPP problems (rich peoples problems), somebody retweeted her Christmas photo. We should all be so lucky.
