FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Casting Rumors, Chris Hemsworth and Matt Bomer Final Two?
Fifty Shades of Grey casting rumors continue to swirl. The E.L. James novel has not only captured fans hearts, but set imaginations on fire, with over 25 million books sold. Which actor should they choose to portray oh so sexy, Christian Grey? Here’s the latest update.
When it comes to author, E.L. James, she’s not ready to reveal who the front runners are just yet. Of course, that doesn’t stop Fifty Shades of Grey fans speculating or actors expressing their desire to portray the naughty Gemini.
Astrochicks favorite potential Christian Grey actors are: Alexander Skarsgard a Virgo, Chris Hemsworth a Leo, Ian Somerhalder a Sagittarius, Matt Bomer a Libra, and Robert Pattinson a Taurus. Considering the Fifty Shades character is a Gemini, they will need to cast an actor who can embody his wit, charm, and kinkiness. Yummy, Matt Bomer or Chris Hemsworth has our vote.
The Fifty Shades of Grey fascination has continued to spread like wildfire, even hitting Pintrest. A recent TV report reveals: “Women everywhere are incorporating the theme with masks and grey neckties, a la Christian Grey. Pinterest is full of ideas, like cakes, cupcakes, cookies and bookmark favors with “Christian-isms and notes “others have gone even further, taking their Fifty Shades inspiration into the bedroom.”
Astrologically speaking, Astrochicks the Fifty Shades of Grey movie will be HUGE, regardless of who they cast. Although, we predict one role will end up having to be recast after an actor drops out. Fans can expect to hear official casting announcements early next year. Stay tuned.
Matt Bomer definitely is hot and has that Christian vibe with his grey suit. I still think that Chris Hemsworth would be the best. So tall and dreamy.

Christian bale is not here, why? I think he could be really good as Christian Grey, I remembered him in American Psycho, so so good, so impressive and he is so mature, choose him please!!!!
I agree, Christian Bale is a hottie but I think too old for the role. I remember what a great job he did in American Psycho, he definitely has an edge and very very handsome. Good choice!

Matt Bomer would ruing the film, with his being openly gay. The ones pushing for him have dragged the entire gay rights thing into this. He is not believable in the show he is on, and he would be even worse in this film. Do not ruin the film for many, and it would if he was to be cast. He is rather cute, but too small and petite for the role, and his acting is not very good either. I vote for Hemsworth and Skarsgard for the role, they both are the total package.
His being gay will kill any credibility in this film, get real. Now if it was a guy he was going to be all over, maybe. But some young thing, female, no, it will not work.
No please not Matt Bomer. This fan frenzy has become ridiculous and seems to be more about Gay Rights than whether he is really suitable for the role. Good actor or not many people will feel very uncomfortable seeing him trying to get down and dirty with a woman. It would just turn into a comedy. No reason why he can’t play a straight man in a romantic comedy or even roles like Superman etc but this is far too hot for him to pull off. He is too much a pretty boy and sorry to say this but he doesn’t always look particularly masculine in photos or fan trailers.

I see Matt Bomer as Christian Grey. This role has nothing to do with the personal life of the actor or his sexual orientation. NO. This has to do with a profesion: ACTING. So if he has the talent to play the role of a hetero man (caracter in this case) like Christian, than he should be him. His life has nothing to do with the caracter he might play in many movies.
ACTING is the work of an actor or actress, which is a person in theatre, television, film, or any other storytelling medium who tells the story by portraying a character and, usually, speaking or singing the written text or play.
And finally I have to say that WE LIVE IN THE 21st CENTURY so pleaseee don’t play with the WORD GAY all the time. Discrimination is not a good word to mention after all this years and after all this centuries that we have tried to destroy this ‘ugly word’. Thank you

Matt Bomer is hot though but petite as is Ian S. In the books CTG kickboxes with an ex olympian and I can’t see either of them bulked up. Henry Cavill will be Superman Man of Steel next year…he’s what Fifty Shades the movie needs as the lead male role.
I know who Henry Cavill is and I don’t like him as Christian. For me, among the american actors there is only one actor that can play that role and his name is Matt Bomer.
But you all have learned exactly this words: Matt is gay, Matt is petit etc etc etc things like this. Matt was first at every poll but now that he declared that he is gay everyone voted for Ian… I’m saying that just because he’s gay you are atacking him. This is not fair.
