Where the stars collide for President Obama and Governor Romney! This week, the cosmos will be shifting gears as Saturn in Libra leaves for powerful Scorpio, setting the tone for a VERY heated Presidential debate, between Obama and Romney. What was once hidden, will be revealed. Expect both candidates to feel the pressure. For our favorite celebs, we expect many more couples to split. Buckle up, psychic and astrology predictions ahead.
Today, Venus left lovable Leo, which is Obama’s Sun sign. He’s been feeling pretty good about his campaign and Romney has been scrambling. Now Venus has entered picky Virgo, we can expect voters to really turn up the heat on our Presidential candidates, as they should. It WILL be a close election, regardless of Romney sticking his foot in his mouth.
For readers personally, with Venus in Virgo, you will begin to examine what you love and what you HATE in your life. The focus will be on relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and your significant other. Try not to obsess on the details but be more thoughtful in your approach when you ask yourself…are you really happy.
Jupiter will turn retrograde, with lady luck going in a backward motion. A emphasis will be placed on inner awareness and inner growth. It is an excellent time to get in touch with personal integrity. The major theme of the Presidential campaign, with Romney’s ridiculous comment about the 47% he thinks are living off the system. No doubt, America views Obama as a man of integrity, and is more connected to the well being of others. America will have to decide who’s side they are on. What do you value?
For Saturn in Scorpio, Astrochicks predicts major transformation for most on a professional and personal level. The sign of Saturn’s transit shows us what lessons we are to learn. Of course, it does not mean that we learn them.
The lessons of Saturn in Libra was about relationships, civility, getting along, and marriage issues. We saw Kim Kardashian a Libra girl realize she married the wrong man. Chad Johnson a Capricorn + Evelyn Lozada get a divorce after two months of marriage. Katy Perry + Russell Brand said bye bye to their marriage and the list goes on.
On a world level, many states are wrestling with gay marriage issues. The lessons of Scorpio are around sex, power, and healing. It is about manipulating power and the covert use of power. It is about how to manipulate mass consciousness.

First of all, Mitt Romney had great transits the day of the debate. The transiting Mars/North Node conjunction was conjunct his Moon/Jupiter conjunction, so he was more aggressive than usual. The Sun was conjunct his natal Neptune, ruler of his 10th house, which helped with his confidence. Political fact checkers indicated a whopping 27 lies told by Romney within 38 minutes of the debate! Neptune has been squaring his Ascendant, and transiting Sun was on his Neptune, so the fact that he bent the truth is not surprising. He was also very vague with the policies he put forth, and was lax on the details. Very Neptunian, don’t you think? Moreover, the mundane transits suited Romney perfectly. Romney is as Neptunian as they get, and with the Venus-Neptune opposition in the sky yesterday, I bet he was feeling quite comfortable.
Now, let’s look at Obama’s transits.
Transiting Venus was in his 7th house, sextile his natal Venus. While this transit promotes popularity, it also promotes harmony and cooperation. Under this influence, we are not prone to making conflict; rather, we desire cooperation and harmony. Notice how many times Obama indicated the areas in which the two candidates agreed? Notice how he didn’t “attack” Romney to the same degree he was attacked?
Saturn is now within one degree of squaring his 12th house natal Jupiter. During this time, we feel down on our luck. Obama may feel restless for new opportunities, but feels bogged down with issues from the past. Jupiter in the 12th is often seen as an aspect that indicates one has a guardian angel on their shoulder, helping then navigate life’s crises. With Saturn squaring this planet, perhaps his guardian angel is on a break.
Mars was transiting conjunct his natal Midheaven exactly. Under this transit, we must be careful not to act impulsively or make decisions based on egotistical motives. Indeed, Obama certainly seemed more irritable than usual yesterday, which was especially clear when he argued with the moderator.
The most important and significant transit is Obama’s Chiron Return. Obama has Chiron in Pisces in the first house. His demeanor yesterday was vastly different than the Obama we’re used to. Having a planet or and asteroid in our first house will manifest through the way we project ourselves to the world. Our physical appearance, mannerisms, and body language all fall under the first house’s jurisdiction.
Obama’s natal Chiron is in his first house. This indicates Obama’s reoccurring wounds manifest through his sense of self, which has somehow been harmed in the past. As a result, a sense of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence may plague him from time to time. These thoughts lead to self-defeating behaviors. Obama may be working through some demons right now. He may be having fears and doubts over how he perceives himself and how others perceive him. His Chiron is in Pisces, so perhaps he has ignored these wounds in favor of helping others. Those with Chiron in Pisces put other people’s needs ahead of their own due to their strong sense of compassion and sensitivity. His Chiron in the first house is square his Moon in the fourth, so his mother’s role in his life has had a significant role in this, as well. This aspect suggests that their relationship has had a significant impact on the way Obama perceives himself.
Obama is now experiencing his Chiron Return, which happens to everyone around the ages of 50-51. When transiting Chiron makes an aspect to its natal position in a person’s chart, events trigger our Chironic wound. This is especially true during the Chiron Return. Obama is currently being reminded of a painful memory, and doubts his self-worth. This is affecting his self-confidence, as well as they way he is presenting himself to the world.
Hopefully, Obama will be able to use this time to learn to love himself, and learn to let go of the past. Hopefully, he will see that everything happens for a reason, and that he would not be where he was today without having gone through what he has gone through. It’s much easier said than done, or course, but the discovery of your true self-worth is the gift of this transit.
Transits for the Next Debate:
Obama’s Chiron Return will be exact on the day of the next debate. In addition, Saturn will be square his natal Mercury. The Sun will be square his Saturn, and Mars will be square his Pluto. Transiting Venus will still be in his 7th house.
As for Romney, transiting Mercury will be trine his Mercury, and transiting Venus will be opposite his Venus. Transiting Mars will be square his Mars and conjunct his South Node. Transiting Saturn will be in an applying square to Saturn, Neptune will be square his Ascendant, and Chiron will be square his North Node exactly! He has the benefic Jupiter transiting his 1st house, combative Mars transiting in his 7th house, and Mercury transiting his sixth house.

If you’re going to accuse others of being ignorant…you better make sure you’re not talking about yourself.
Obama has never had a job before? He’s been on the public welfare? Are you kidding me? He graduated from Harvard Law School. His wife is a lawyer. He worked his way through school and has always paid his way. If you’re going to state something as fact you better make sure it’s true.
Obama was a Civil Rights attorney and served 3 terms as a Senator. Honey, isn’t that a job. What do you do for a living?
For Romney, he has created jobs and has taken them away. As the former CEO of Bain Capital, they were a corporate raider corporation that would buy companies, sell off the assets, and fire workers. You can read about it here:

If you think you’re going to be better off with Romney think again. Unless of course you make over $250k per year. I think Romney is a good man but he’s all about the money.
anyone that would want Obama to win a second term,is ignorant of what is going on in this country and that doesn’t mean stupid, just ill informed. no matter who wins, what our government has done to us is horribly wrong….wake up people and start paying attention to what your elected officials are doing with your money. romney has at least never had a drink, smoked pot or done cocaine…worked and created and save tons of jobs and even when he worked in the public sector took no money from us (not every time). Obama has never had a regular job, but alway been on the public dole…enough said…
I think with Saturn in Scorpio, I expect something weird to happen with the voting. Just like AL Gore and Bush. Although Romney is down in the polls, he’s a pretty crafty guy behind the scenes.
I want Obama to win but I think it will be close. Even if he does win, I think the next two years will definitely be difficult for him, either way.
Interesting article. Have you looked at the US chart and the progressed sun and moon coming up for Obama. Take a look a inauguration day, that is the real clincher. Have you thought at all about the VOC. You are right in that, it really is about freedom in which the people will decide despite everything said or anything that is said here there or anywhere. That’s the one good thing about America! Freedom of choice and though the stars draw they never compel. The people will choose the next President, with hopefully a little help from above.
