FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Casting Rumors, Ryan Gosling Out, Chris Hemsworth In?
Will Ryan Gosling be cast as Christian in “Fifty Shades of Grey?” Well, if you believe the latest round of casting rumors, our sexy Scorpio thespian, Ryan Gosling, says he’s not too keen to get down and dirty in the film. What about Chris Hemsworth? Should he be cast as Christian Grey?
If you’re a fan of the book “Fifty Shades of Grey,” no doubt, you have probably fantasized which one of your favorite actors should portray Christian on the silver screen. Who is most swoon worthy? Should it be Ian Somerhalder, Chris Hemsworth, Alexander Skarsgard, Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, Alex Pettyfer, Jensen Ackles, Ryan Guzman, Henry Cavill or Scott Elrod? So many to choose from, they are all absolutely yummy.
The phenomenal success of “Fifty Shades of Grey” has Hollywood talking. Even American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, has admitted he’s obsessed with the book. In a recent interview he says, ”I’m past the bathtub scene, so I’m making progress,” he told Access Hollywood correspondent Jill Martin ahead of the E! upfronts in New York City on Monday, referring to his spot in the novel. “It’s fascinating to see something like that capture the zeitgeist and also it’s really interesting to read. Hmmm, I wonder if he’s tried out any of the Fifty Shades scenes on his girlfriend Julianne Hough? Ha!
Whoever E.L. James chooses to be Christian Grey, I’m sure the film, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” will be sextastic film. Stay tuned.
I am just happy that the producers have a hand in the choosing as well, I do not want Ian or Henry as Christian, one is too short and the other has all the presence of a wooden post. Would love Alexander Skarsgard or Chris Hemsworth or even the fitness due Jessie something this film would be wonderful but only with the correct casting.
I find it laughable it mentions how Seacrest is obsessed with the books, which have been out since April, here we are end of September and he’s not past the bath tub? Either that’s old information or Seacrest is lying about loving the books and trying to get through it. They aren’t taxing on the brain and they aren’t long reads. Ever notice how each article naming possible Christians tosses in a few you’ve never heard before? This is how the list keeps growing.

For Seacrest, he’s just trying to be relevant with the ladies by saying that. He’s constantly battling rumors he’s gay, etc. and pushing 40. Plus, when you’re dating a girl only 23, who could almost be your daughter well…

Hmmm, he is very nice looking, just never have been a big fan, I find him rather, stiff in his movements and acting.
The video you mentioned was pushed upon me when Alexander Skargard’s came out, there was a big stink about how everyone who did not like Henry’s was stupid and what not and how more superior it was to Alex’s, blah blah blah,
I hope they cast Henry Cavill, he’s the perfect Christian Grey!!!
Ian Somerhalder would be beyond perfection for the role. Can’t fathom anyone but him as Mr. Grey.
I dislike both Henry Cavil and Ian Somerhalder, so no I hope that neither of them get the role, one has all the presence of wet cement and the other looks nothing like the character what with being too short and delicate/feminine looking, besides the fact that he could not act his way out of a wet paper bag

I really think that ERIC DANE (McSteamy from Grey’s Anatomy) would be perfect for the role of Christian Grey.
Eric Dane, now that would be wonderful as well, has the height and the presence that is so important here, yes he would be an excellent candidate. And he is gorgeous but not in a sissy kind of way

I like Skarsgard on True Blood but I don’t see him as Christian Grey at all. He can’t pull off looking late 20′s. And Hemsworth is a bit too caveman looking for my tastes. He wouldn’t suit the character at all. I would just think Thor.
I just do not want someone short and lackluster in the acting department is all. And I have looked at Cavil again, nothing there, looks good in print, but that is it. Chris Hemsworth looks good without the bulk as well, as for Alex Skarsgard, he can pull of the age thing with no problem I believe, hell the lead contender looks older and he is younger, and Hollywood is notorious for casting with success older actors in younger parts,it is rare that the age thing in a book is a deal breaker. That is unless hoards of rabid/mean ass fans make it one. And I would not be surprised given the behavior of some of the fan bases.
