MTV TEEN MOM, Amber Portwood Suicide Attempt, Sad Prison Confession!
It’s shocking, that former reality star, “Teen Mom,” Amber Portwood chose to go back to jail instead of seeking addiction treatment. In a new interview, the troubled MTV star, reveals that she suffers from severe depression and even tried to commit suicide. Wow, what happened?
Amber Portwood says, “I had taken 30 Suboxone [a drug used to treat opioid addictions] within 3 days. The depression took over. I would take 4 or 5 at a time. I felt like I’d rather do my time and get it over with, and make the best of a situation that’s been handed to me.I’m not just going to sit. I’m going to do substance abuse classes. I’m going to get my GED.”
What’s really weird, Portwood tried a home drug program, but wasn’t emotionally stable to handle it. Why didn’t they just send her to six months in rehab? She could have gotten counseling and drug treatment. In jail, she will go cold turkey, with some addiction classes, but the environment can’t be that healthy.
For Astrochicks, we think MTV may be glorifying teen pregnancy, and these immature young girls aren’t ready to handle fame and fortune. Amber Portwood is a perfect example, an emotionally troubled girl, who didn’t have the tools to make proper decisions in life.
Astrologically speaking, Amber Portwood, is born under the sign of Taurus. A stubborn girl, she tends to live life to excess. She can be way too materialistic and likes to be in control.
In 2013, we think she will wake up from the fog of drug use, and will most likely try desperately to get back out of jail. Five years is a really long time, she needs mental health and addiction treatment, not jail. Prison, will not be kind to her.
Next year, Astrochicks expect more troubles for our Amber Portwood, we hope that she will continue to have family support. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her and her baby girl. We hope she makes it to the other side.
This is awful, I see that Amber could be a good mom if she really tried too, not saying that she doesnt. But that doesnt give anyone the right to bash her. I hope if you went through half the things that she had been through you would be the same way.
So before you judge her maybe you should take a walk in her shoes. And saying that she needs to go to prison makes you a bad as well.

You are stupid. Amber is an idiot who looked a gift horse in the mouth. She was in a very prestigious rehabilitation treatment facility and she chose the easy way out. She deserves to be in jail where she will surely get the “attention” she craves. Good luck with that one Amber. You are indeed an idiot!
Addiction is a disease, just like cancer. She needs treatment, not prison. Obviously, she suffers from emotional problems, I think compassion is more in order than hatred for another human being. In prison, I see her only getting worse. Fame has not been kind to her.
