Former guitarist, Bob Welch, who played for 70s rock band, Fleetwood Mac, was found dead by his wife. Found earlier today, police report the musician committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest.
A guitarist and vocalist for Fleetwood Mac from 1971 to 1974, Bob Welch, also played in the band Paris. He formed the British rock group Paris in 1976, and had hits including “Sentimental Lady” in 1977 and “Ebony Eyes” in 1978.
It’s unknown, why Welch killed himself but it was reported he had no health problems and did leave a suicide note for his family. According to police, Bob shot himself in the chest.
