The movie premiere of the Five Year Engagement is just in time for wedding season. With all those bridezillas marching down the aisle, can relate to the trials and tribulations of getting married. For girls who are always the bridesmaid and never the bride, can only dream of finding the perfect guy.

For Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, they are perfectly cast as the happily unmarried couple, who can’t find the time to plan a wedding.  In the Five Year Engagement, Jason stars as Tom Solomon, who falls in love with Emily’ character, Violet Barnes. Naturally, he surprises her with a beautiful diamond ring.

By all accounts, Tom and Violet are destined for their happily ever after. As a sous chef at Birch, Tom is at the apex of modernist cooking and ripe for a promotion. Academia is Violets life, and shes this close to a postdoctoral assignment in social psychology at UC Berkeley. There is nothing she cant handle with ease, and shell spearhead wedding logistics. They’ll be married in no time at all. Or will they?

The romantic comedy reveals the challenges of what love and marriage means today. Can you still be happy without a wedding ring? Or placing more value on your career instead of love, does that make you selfish or a commitment phobe? If you loved crazy comedies like 40 Year Old Virgin or Wedding Crashers, this is a film you won’t want to miss. Astrochicks gives it a B+.

Astrologically speaking, for Jason Segel a down to earth Capricorn dude may be getting married soon himself. We think his new girlfriend, Michelle Williams, is the perfect love match. Astrochicks predicts a 2013 wedding! Congrats!
