This week, will Heejun Han be in the bottom three again on American Idol? The lovable 22 year old has had a rough couple of weeks and was chastised by Steven Tyler last week.
Yes, American Idol is a serious competition but it’s nice to have a little comic and entertainment relief from Heejun. At least he’s got charisma, which some of the other contestants definitely don’t. Warning psychic predictions and American Idol spoilers ahead.
In a new interview, Heejun Han has some regrets over last weeks American Idol performance, “I just wanted to have fun last week, to show who I really was,” he says of breaking free from his standard repertoire of ballads. “They took it the wrong way, so it was really a tough week thinking ‘Do I really belong here? Do I really deserve this spot?'” Yes, Astrochicks thinks he does.
A humble guy, Heejun continues, “I was really honored to stand right next to a great singer like Erika Van Pelt, who was ultimately sent home]. We came from 100,000 people to Top 9, and … this is a spot more than I deserve, honestly. That’s when I said I don’t want to be a star — it’s coming from a thought saying my priority is to help the kids first, and show the world that you can become someone if you truly believe in yourself, and then my career comes next. That was the thought, and people took it the wrong way.”
For the American Idol top 3, we think that Colton Dixon and Jessica Sanchez will definitely have a place in fans hearts. For the third person, we’re hoping it’s Philip Philips, who reminds Astrochicks a lot of Dave Matthews. Although astrologically speaking, we think Colton Dixon who’s a Libra, will probably win. Don’t forget to vote.
