TRAYVON MARTIN RIP, Will George Zimmerman Be Arrested for Teens Death?
The sensless and tragic death of Trayvon Martin, continues to capture national attention, sparking nationwide protests. George Zimmerman, who shot the teen dead, while walking through a gated neighborhood, still has not been arrested.
Trayvon Martin’s, an unarmed teen was with his father, who was visiting his fiancee in Orlando, Florida. The teen was returning from 7-11, after purchasing Skittle and an Ice Tea, was pursued by George Zimmerman, an over zealous neighborhood watch volunteer. Assuming the teen was casing the neighborhood, he chased Trayvon via his truck, and cornering him before he was shot dead. Sadly, because of Florida’s controversial “Stand Down Law,” Zimmer claimed self defense and the cops chose not to arrest him. Since when is Skittles a deadly weapon? The poor kid was shot in the back.
For the first time, George Zimmerman’s friends, are speaking out on his behalf. One delusional friend said, they had thought the entire incident would “blow over.” Instead, Zimmerman is hiding amid death threats and demands for his arrest. Seriously? Killing a black teen in cold blood would blow over? Just an average day in an Orlando neighborhood? What planet do these people live on? Why are idiots like Zimmerman allowed to carry a gun, clearly he has emotional issues and his some wannabe cop.
Everyone from President Obama, the Miami Heat, to Will Smith, have asked for the immediate arrest of George Zimmerman. It’s shocking and appalling that he is still allowed to roam free. Will Smith posted on his Twitter page, ” WE live in America where a girl that threw flour on Kim Kardashian was arrested on site, but the man who KILLED Trayvon Martin is still free.” It’s absolutely insane that Florida’s lawmakers are that backwards.
The Governor of Florida, has appointed a special prosecutor to review the case. Hopefully, murder charges will be filed against George Zimmerman within the next two weeks. Also, hopefully Florida will clean house with lawmakers who believe in double standards.
For Trayvon Martin, may he RIP. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
