Whitney Houston is dead. On the night before the Grammys, the music industry mourns the loss of one of the greatest singers of all time. Whitney’s legendary voice and soulful spirit, sold over 200 million records, and was loved by fans around the world.

Today, Whitney Houston’s body was discovered at Beverly Hilton Hotel, she was in town to attend Clive Davis’s Grammy party. Her publicist Kristen Foster, announced the singer had died but the cause of death was unknown. Did she die of an accidental drug overdose?

Houston leaves behind one baby girl, Bobbi Kristina, with ex husband Bobby Brown. Whitney Houston and Brown were married from 1992-2007.

Over the years, the singer struggled with drug addiction which had ravaged her voice but was making a movie comeback. Houston’s last film, ‘Sparkle’ starring Jordin Sparks is scheduled to be released August 17th.

Most recently, Whitney Houston started dating ex boyfriend, Ray J again and they were spotted at a Hollywood party earlier this week. She even dined with ex husband, Bobby, and their daughter.
