A sober solider, Rene recently celebrated 9 months of sobriety and is an inspiration to other struggling with addiction.
According to various sources, the first single from Chris Rene’s 2012 album will be a new studio recording of “Young Homie,” the original song that Rene performed on X Factor. He’s in LA already, putting down tracks in the studio with several hitmakers. Rene posted this message on his Twitter account on January 4, 2012: “In the Studio with @jonathanrotem @MartyJames #Booya.”
