Will the real T.I. please stand up? Rapper and reality superstar, aka “Tip” Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. is giving VH1 fans an inside look at his marriage to Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and their daily family hustle. By showing his softer side, is T.I. ruining his street cred with hip hop fans?
T.I. says, “When I go home, that’s who I am, what you see on the show. Now, what you’re gonna hear through them records is when I hit the streets, when I’m out movin’ and groovin’ — this is the person that must maintain this personality because it’s a cold world out here,” he said. “At home, I could be Mr. Harris or Daddy or whatnot, but when I’m out here in these streets it’s gonna have to be Tip because that’s what it takes to make it out here.”
On New Year’s Day, T.I. dropped his F— da City Up mixtape, and next up for his 8th solo album, Trouble Man. Can T.I. climb his way back up to the top? In a recent interview, T.I. says the new songs reveal the recent struggles the Libra rapper experienced while in prison. “My life inspires my lyrics at all times, so at that moment in time, when I first came home, I have about 15 songs just totally focusing on that.”
Astrologically, T.I. born under the sign of Libra is a charismatic soul. A true romantic at heart, he’s found a soulmate connection with his wife Tiny, born under the zodiac sign of Cancer. His wife, a family girl, keeps her man grounded and focused on what’s most important. Their family and life together.
T.I.’s new reality series has drawn big ratings for VH1, tracking over 4.5 million viewers, together with his wife Tiny they are the hip hop version of the Brady Bunch. Astrochicks loves the show and we think T.I. who has a celebrity net financial worth of over $25 million, will continue to ring the cash register with his new music and other business ventures. Hey, don’t hate the player, hate the game.
