EVELYN LOZADA Lawsuit, Ex Boyfriend Antoine Walker Broke, Basketball Wive Sued?
Evelyn Lozada has been served. The Basketball Wives star is embroiled in a lawsuit over ex boyfriend, Antoine Walker’s finances. Last year, the former NBA star filed bankruptcy after blowing through $110 million dollars, Some of his hard earned cash landed in Evelyn’s bank account and the bankruptcy trustee wants it back.
According to TMZ, Antoine Walker gave Evelyn Lozada over $560k dollars to start her shoe store Dulce. The bankruptcy trustee believes the NBA star gave money to our Sagittarius girl to hide some cash. Of course, Evelyn denies that she knew Antoine was broke and claims he was her investor, plus gave her extra cash to pay bills. Wow, our Sagittarius girl is not cheap.
Astrochicks feels sorry for Antoine Walker. How in the world do you blow through $110 million dollars?Don’t these NBA stars have financial managers to help them invest their cash and not blow on gold diggers? Or did Walker a proud Leo have other problems that contributed to his financial downfall?
On July 15, 2009, Antoine Walker was charged with three felony counts of writing bad checks related to gambling debts he had incurred at three Las Vegas casinos. The charges stemmed from over $800,000 in gambling debts.
In May 2010, Walker filed for bankruptcy with $4.3 million in assets and over $12 million in debt. I wonder if that’s why Evelyn Lozada split from Walker? No cash no girlfriend.
Astrochicks would like to say it’s going to get better for Walker. I think it’s going to take at least two years for him to get his life back on track. Hopefully, Evelyn Lozada will pay back Antoine for all the money he gave her. She doesn’t need it and shouldn’t have taken his money when he was broke. Watch your wallet Chad! Stay tuned.
