X Factor Chris Renee who’s been a fan favorite from day one,  counts his blessings every day.  He’s thankful for his life, family, sobriety, purpose, love, and fans he recently posted on his Facebook page. Sailing in to the final five, does Chris Rene have the X Factor to make it into final three?

The X Factor finalist were recently asked if they were stranded on a desert island which judge they would take with them and why. Naturally, Chris Rene says:  “Nicole, so we could make music together. We would cut the palm trees and or make guitars out of them, hang out, suntan on the beach together, swim, skinny-dip…No, I’m just joking, just joking! Not really! Okay, all right, that’s enough.”

Originally from Santa Cruz, Chris Rene is only 28 years old and is probably one of the most original singers on the show.  Astrochicks thinks he has the most mass appeal and the biggest chance of being a worldwide star. Yes, we think Melanie Amaro is an amazing singer but she’s not Mariah Carey or Celene Dion.  The only other contender we think is Josh Krajnik who’s a singer songwriter as well and very unique.

We’ve been tracking Facebook buzz and Josh Krajnik is number one in social buzz, Melanie Amaro in second, and Chris Rene a close third. On his Facebook page, Chris has over 16,000 Souljah’s following him on his official page. He posts his musical influences include: Pink Floyd, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Fresh Prince, Bob Marley, Trey Songz, Usher, Beyonce, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg.

Whoever wins X Factor, they will end up with a $4 million recording contract with Epic Records, plus $1 million to spend on their own. The winner will also be starring in their own Pepsi commercial. We would love to see Chris Rene win. We definitely think he will make it to the final three. Stay tuned.
