What do old rockstars do when they retire? They finally marry their long suffering girlfriends. Just ask Bret Michaels or Gene Simmons. For the Kiss guitarist, he’s finally decided to give his baby mama the wedding she always dreamed of. Naturally, cameras will be rolling for their hit A&E reality show.

According to the wedding invitation, guests are expected to wear cocktail or rockstar attire. A note from Gene + Shannon’s two kids, Nick and Sophie, read: “After 28 years of two loose strings, our parents have finally decided to tie the knot,” the letter reads. “Our Mother will share our horrendous hyphenate of a last name and our Father’s life… well it doesn’t change much.”

Gene Simmons, born under the astrology sign of  Virgo, is the ultimate die-hard bachelor. Independent and a perfectionist, he was determined to hang on to his rockstar status for as long as possible. Lucky for Gene, his girlfriend Shannon Tweed loved him enough to wait for him to make her a beautiful bride.

Shannon Tweed, born under the astrology sign Pisces, is the polar opposite of her future husband. She’s sexy and feminine, loving and sensitive. She’s basically everything Simmons is not and somehow together it works for these two.  What does the cosmic future hold for the couple?

Astrologically speaking, the last two years have been rough for Gene Simmons. Faced with his own mortality and the possibility of losing the love of his life, he finally decided to embrace marriage and live happily ever after. Our astrology prediction for Gene and Shannon is to expect marital bliss for at least the next two years. In 2014, Gene may have a health scare and need to slow his work schedule down. Most likely, we expect the Kiss guitarist to retire his “Family Jewels” reality show and focus on enjoying his life with future wife Shannon. Wishing them lots of love and happiness.
