Chris Medina, may have not made American Idol’s top twelve, he still has earned a place in fans hearts. Most recently, he appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and received several donations for his fiancee’s charity. The actor Topher Grace, donated $35k along with others to help with his girlfriends medical costs.
During the American Idols auditions, Medina’s heartbreaking back story, when his fiancée Juliana Ramos, was in a car accident that left her confined to a wheelchair after suffering a severe brain injury. Chris Medina, a man true to his word, has stood by her side and has taken care of her.
The former American Idol contestant, is working his debut single, “What Are Words,” a Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-produced ballad in tribute to Chris Medina’s fiancée. The new song is performing well, making it into the top 50 of the iTunes top 200 charts (No. 45 as of early Wednesday) — good news, considering a portion of the proceeds of the song will go to Ramos’ recovery fund.
