Sarah Palin decided to blast Michelle Obama this week, over our First Lady’s support for a kids Anti-Obesity campaign. Michelle Obama, is a child advocate for better nutrition in our school and I guess Sarah Palin is not. The United States is one of the most obese nations in the world, our love of fast food and lack of exercise is killing us. Hasn’t Palin noticed during her book tour?
Sarah Palin, in Astrochicks opinion, chooses strange platforms to be against. Even medical insurance companies support healthy lifestyle programs. Why does she think reality shows like “Biggest Loser” are so popular? This week, Sarah Palin appeared on the Laura Ingraham show, and said the following: “Take Michelle Obama anti-obesity thing that she is on. She is on this kick, right. What she is telling us is she cannot trust parents to make decisions for their own children, for their own families in what we should eat.” I wonder if Palin was munching on a Big Mac during the interview?
Huffington Post reports: “As governor of AK, in 2009, Palin touted her efforts to do just the very same, encouraging and supporting similar type programs; promoting healthy eating and phys ed in school. Just as with TARP, she was for it before she was conveniently, against it.” Is Sarah Palin playing devil’s advocate to generate more publicity?
Sarah Palin, born under the astrology star sign of Aquarius, can be an odd bird. As a reality show star, she’s entertaining. The possibility of her winning the Republican nomination, is absolutely scary. Palin doesn’t practice what she preaches, and she needs to teach her kids some serious Facebook etiquette. They sound like a bunch of red necks, blasting hateful words on Facebook, when someone doesn’t like Mama Grizzley.
For Michelle Obama, what can Astrochicks say, she is an incredibly intelligent and classy lady. Born under the astrology sign of Capricorn, she’s down to earth and practical. Our First Lady is way too smart to play Sarah Palin’s game. Palin has a new book she wants to sell and I guess by making nasty comments about a Anti-Obesity campaign, she might get the Tea Party people all fired up. For Michelle Obama, her positive record to help others speaks for itself. For Sarah Palin, she’s more hype than substance. Stay tuned.
