REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS, Kyle Richards Mean Girl Bullies Sister Kim!
Kyle Richards, the resident bully on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, can dish it out but she just can’t take it. After her cat fight with Camille Grammer, she turned on her sister Kim Richards because she didn’t stick up for her. Crying like a big baby, Kyle Richards claims she’s a lover not a fighter but all we ever see is her do is argue with someone. What’s up with that? Why does Kyle Richards always have to be the mean girl?
Unfortunately for Kyle Richards, she’s not very self aware. The Capricorn girl is a wonderful mom, who likes to be in control and can be pretty mean at times. When it comes to family, she uses her Virgo sister, Kim Richards, as her verbal punching bag. She tried that routine on Camille Grammer another Virgo, who stayed calm during the argument, and ended up making Kyle Richards look like a fool. Such a drama queen, screaming that Camille needed a therapist, and having a meltdown over dinner.
For some reason, all the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills thinks Camille Grammer is insecure. Astrochicks doesn’t see that and thinks Kim Richards and Taylor Armstrong have the issue with self esteem. The only two girls that try to keep it classy is Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof. Of course, the two richest ladies on the show know how to keep it together.
For Kyle Richards, I think she’s beautiful but dang that girl is obnoxious. She blames her sister Kim Richards for everything and acts like a spoiled brat. Astrologically, expect more drama to unfold for our Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Stay tuned.
I don’t agree at all about Kyle Richards being a mean girl! As a matter of fact I posted this post on another site just a moment ago. Here it is:
I’m really enjoying HWOBH. Bravo to Bravo! I have to say that I can’t stand Camille though! What a self absorbed witch! I feel really bad for Kyle having to defend herself against something she never did! I completely believe Kyle and also found it disappointing that her own sister didn’t stand up for her!
In my opinion, Camille is the one with jealousy issues. I believe she is jealous of Kyle for the way that Kyle looks(she’s a very pretty woman with a great figure)and of the loving marriage between Kyle and her husband. Camille’s karma will catch up with her for sure. To affect one’s income based on petty jealousy is low!
Camille should have never agreed to be a part of the Housewives since it’s only proving to show what a low class, fake, tasteless, jealous, spiteful, gossiping liar she is! I truly cannot believe that Camille believes so many women are jealous of her.
Jealous of what? I guess surrounding yourself by people(her real friends HAHA)who tell you what you want to hear constantly will make you believe your own lies. It’s become clear now why Kelsey Grammar left Camille for another woman. Not that I would ever condone a man doing what Kelsey Grammar did but considering it was Camille, I have no sympathy for this mean spirited woman.
If Kyle happens to ever come across this comment, I want her to know that any intelligent person can see what really happened and who the real victim in this was! I had the same type of incident happen to me before with someone simply b/c she hated that everyone liked me and never talked bad about me. How pathetic of someone not to like someone else simply b/c you are “too nice” or “too good” of a person!
Kyle needs to simply continue being who she is by Loving/taking care of her family, being the good wife/mother she is and by not allowing an INSECURE(YES, Camille IS definitely INSECURE which is why she is so sensitive and accusing of others. What she accuses others of is the way she thinks of HERSELF)pathetic person like Camille bring someone down in any way!
I think Kyle is incredibly mean to her sister Kim Richards. She’s always moaning, didn’t thank her sister for her gift and seems a bit narcisstic. Yes, she’s beautiful, has a hot hubby and is a great mom. With that said, she could afford to be more graceful like Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof. Personally, I think Kyle is way too bitchy.
I disagree about Kyle Richards being a mean girl. Yes, she has that pushy Capricorn energy that can be abrasive, but not malicious. Sister Kim neglected to defend her, making Kyle upset.
By contrast, Camille- whose friends are from her paid house employees to sycophantic makeup/hair stylists- is very, very snobbish, mean, petty and self-absorbed. I don’t condone Kelsey cheating, but I’m glad he isn’t with this woman who claims so much credit for doing so very little, then says she’s “exhausted.”
Seriously, Astrochicken, how much is Camille paying you to write these columns? It’s either that, or you are the most clueless person in the world, because nothing else could explain how someone could watch this show and draw the conclusions that you do.
Camille seems cripplingly insecure to me. She doesn’t seem to know who she is. Case in point, her talking about Kyle’s husband being lower on the ‘pecking order’ than hers. Who cares, firstly, and secondly, what about her? Where does she compare in the ‘pecking order’ to Kyle? She’s not hotter, Kyle has more friends that genuinely care for her rather than her money, she has a real relationship with her husband and kids, which she carried and seems to take care of herself. She totally touts all of her husbands accomplishments as her own, because she doesn’t have anything to show for herself. There’s nothing sadder than someone who uses their significant other, friend, or family members accomplishments to validate themselves.
That being said, I do believe Kyle is a mean girl and mean to her sister. Although I’m sure Kim deserves it in some instances, it seems as though Kyle also unnecessarily digs into Kim every chance she gets, and in public. i.e., “no offense, but your history shows you can’t choose your own men,” or “you’re the bad witch, I’m the good witch…” All these things add up, day after day and certainly must affect Kim. In fact, I can see a visceral reaction by Kim every time her sister does/says something damaging to her, she gets all sad and lost looking, almost panicked but too complacent. I’m sure Kyle’s abrasive style has really worn her down over the years. Instead of building up her obviously lost sister, she seems to only make sure to keep her down. I’m sure the behavior is so entrenched she doesn’t realize just how bad it is.
I’m not saying Camille is a saint but I’ve never seen her call anyone names. Kyle on the other hand, her argument style is to say your crazy, insecure, you need a therapist, shut the f up, etc. To me that’s a bully.
I look at it this way. Kyle Richards husband has been Camille and Kelsey’s real estate agent for years. Which means Kyle’s husband has made millions of dollars in commission off of them so Kyle can enjoy a nice lifestyle.
Kyle is invited to NYC to attend Camille’s husbands broadway play. Instead of just being charming, Kyle verbally assaults Camille and Kim at the table. Like Lisa Vanderpump said, you should just let it go. Kyle has no self control and on top of it her husband just lost a client. To tell your husbands client at a dinner party and on TV you need a therapist, having a public meltdown means you have some serious problems yourself. That’s crazy!
Kyle doesn’t seem like a very nice person, she puts her sister down all the time. Along with Taylor Armstrong, that is insecure. If you have to bully people into submission and name call to get your way, just feels inappropriate. Especially Kim Richards who seems weaker than her sister. Kyle admits she’s not nice to her and “it’s complicated”.
Kyle couldn’t even thank Kim for her gift? So rude and so petty. I don’t like to see people bullied.
I think Adrienne Maloof said it best, you have to let this stuff go and agree to disagree. Of course it makes great TV.
I agree with differing opinion…totally understand why Kelsey left her.I also would never condone cheating but Camille is NUCKEN FUTS! Camille lives in a fantasy world where she thinks she’s gorgeous and everyone is jealous of her. Only she’s not gorgeous and no one has any reason to be jealous of her. When I first heard Kelsey Grammer left her for another woman I thought to myself, “That’s bastard” but now, after seeing Camille in action I don’t know why he stayed with her as long as he did.
Kyle is a class act, which is why Camille is jealous of her! Camille has no class, speaks horrid english and is obviously psychotic. Kyle never said no one would want to see her without Kelsey, but the fact is… it’s true. She’s nothing.
I am with you, I can certainly understand why kelsey divorced Camille, what a controlling bitch. She totally set Kyle up. I hope she reads these blogs and sees that she needs help. The fact that she is hustling her friends cute husband and uses sex as a tool and acts like she doesn’t know what she is doing, please, she is so manipulative, she hits all the wrong notes, why any of those other girls is friends with her, especially Lisa, who I love……….
I really like Lisa too… Lisa and Kyle are my two favorite housewives.
If I traveled in those circles I could see being friends with both of them.

I usually agree with you but you have this wrong. Kyle was rightfully upset at being falsely accused of saying something she didn’t say, and was rightfully upset that the only witness who could confirm it was sitting there silently. That is was her own sister makes it worse. Put yourselves in that situation and maybe you’ll understand the basis of her feelings.
Suppose one of you was accused of saying something you never said and the other one sat by mutely instead of defending you, even though she knew that you were right?
Get the point?
If that’s what makes someone a bully in your world you’ve never been falsely accused of something or betrayed by someone close to you who’s unwilling to defend you. When it happens to you you’ll see it all differently.
About Camille’s use of big words, the word wasn’t “Machiavellic” it was “Machiavellian.”
One more Camille tidbit. She was born in Jersey City, NJ – but has herself down as being born in Newport, CA on her IMDB profile.
I have just caught a rerun of the episode with the “Kyle and Camille” fight, and wow. WTF. I really just needed to know that I wasn’t the only one who was on Team Kyle because they have a brain. And in case Kyle Richards ever reads bloggy things about her, I just wanted to echo a comment before that said that any person able to think and who has seen that episode can clearly see that you were so honest and that’s why you kept reacting viscerally to being wronged and embarrassed by someone who’s just clearly LYING. I know that my reaction to someone who’s obviously just lying through their teeth but are willing to just look you in the face and continue to lie and refuse to back down is eventually “you are such a $*&#ing liar!”
Several comments ring very true: Camille is 100% delusional. And SO jealous of Kyle. Paying “friends” to hang around you does not make them care about you, does not make you look any better, and honestly, it truly hurts your case; at least on TV, it makes you look crazy.
Also, I’m sure the show is somehow edited for maximum trash talking and catty remarks drama, but I highly doubt Kyle is in any way jealous of Camille. As someone said, “OF WHAT?”–that’s all I kept asking myself anytime she or any of her “friends” was repeating that to her as a twisted self-absorbed/ass-kissing mantra. Ew, weird.
So what if your husband is “an A list celebrity who’s won many Emmys”? What part have you had in that? Saying that he is higher on the pecking order makes you, again, look crazy. Who says that?
The way she twists words and tries to throw them back at people, and somehow she’s always the victim in the situation. It’s not cute, it’s a school yard technique that you should outgrow when you hit 40. But who knows how old she can be anyway, given that she has an 80% plastic face, she could be anywhere between 16 and 56.
Kyle is blessed in that department, and her natural young Liz Taylor-esque gorgeousness and her prime hunk of a man must drive Camille to madness, feeling the need to use her sexy “friend” Nick to vent just so that she could have a Kyle-badmouthing fest to try and make her petty self feel better. How low, to make up that whole pathetic “she said, she said” story, and then just build on it and build on it and be so spiteful as to take it to the point of involving business away being taken away from someone. Please, that was so transparent. Also seriously, are you paying Nick and his wife’s mortgage or something? Because I have NO idea why that lady would allow her hot husband to flirt with an insecure aged self-centered wench like you and maintain a “friendship” that looks totally inappropriate–at least on TV. The way they always say hello by kissing each other riiiight at the corner of the mouth, so it’s not on the lips, so it’s ok! And the way she asks him questions that involve examining her fake boobs. My friend is a psychologist and says that Kyle’s treatment of her sister Kim is textbook ABUSIVE. If a husband talked to his wife that way, or a parent talked to their child the way Kyle does to Kim, the diagnosis would be emotional ABUSE.
What kind of household did these Richards sisters grow up in? Was the mother alcoholic?
Kyle is cold, competitive, arrogant and mean. She should get therapy before telling anyone else to. I think Camille’s radar must be pretty good because Kyle was already snarking her in the Las Vegas episode.
Here is my take. Poor Cammille…so self asorbed, no reality or class. To think everyone is jealous of you because of your husband only to find out you are in a little word all in yourself. Please Cammille, is it so hard to have to be debriefed by your help and what they did for you to go on vacation! No wonder Kelsey found you boring. Kyle is a little obnoxious but more natural and just trying to hold her own. Kim is way too sensitive and dramatic. Lisa and Andrienne the classiest and most level headed, also the most hard working. Just my opinion, in the first few episodes Kyle was portrayed as the mean girl. She’s getting a better edit now and seems more balanced. The show is fun and they have to have drama to make it entertaining. Camille isn’t paying anyone to write this stuff. Just advertisers.
Kyle Richards is great. She is honest, upfront and speaks up when attacked. She doesn’t play the victim or try to act coy like Camille. Camille is just thoroughly abhorrent. She keeps accusing Kyle of jealousy but if you see the show, it’s always Camille who brings up Kyle as the topic of conversation in a very negative fashion. I think the jealousy is on Camille’s part. Kyle is a carefree, happy-go-lucky woman who leads a busy life with her husband and children. In addition, she is Paris Hilton’s aunt. Prior to the RHOBH show, I saw Kyle about twice on TV during some Paris Hilton biography specials. I thought she was very beautiful but I brushed her off as another snobbish, rich Beverly Hills socialite. Since watching the RHOBH, I’ve come to appreciate her more. She is very genuine and down to earth, playful and vivacious and not at all conceited like some of the other housewives of the Real Housewives franchise. She is wealthy but not excessively so, and she and her husband appear to really love each other. I don’t think she is mean in the least. Her sister Kim, however, is insufferable. She is in a permanent state of confusion and woe, and can never be counted on when needed. Not even when she could have cleared up a dispute between her sister Kyle and Camille. I would have reacted to Kim in the same way as Kyle, with anger. She witnessed a conversation between Kyle and Camille and could have spoken up about what she heard and saw, but didn’t. What good is a sister like her? None whatsoever.
Camille is so insecure it’s sickening. She says it’s time for her to come from behind her husband’s shadow & shine when all she’s been doing is talking about him & riding his coat tails. It’s embarrassing watching her. She totally knew what was going to happen at that dinner party, that’s why she invited her psycho psychic friend with all of the other ladies. She started s*@t like a ten year old & watched everyone blow up. Then she sat there & tried to act all classy like she was so mature. She’s also having sex with her guy “friend”. If you can’t see that, you must be blind. All she cares about is who is jealous of her & getting attention from men. First of i don’t think either women are right in their behavior but no one is perfect and they are on a show. Kyle seems more down to earth which is great and all and probably a reason she has more friends on the show anyway. I think camille seems friendly but not as grounded which makes her easy to make fun iiof. To everyone who thinks she doesn’t know who she is i disagree. Just because you aren’t abrasive and seemingly strong doesn’t mean you are lost or insecure. As a fellow mutable sign pisces i forgive ppl and try to give second chances which people may see as weak. I think it actually makes you stronger. Even though kyle has flown off th’s handle and said some cutting words camille has tried to reconcile by inviting her for dinner. Kyle only began trying to reconcile when her husband asked her too. It’s known that capricorns are self serving and worried about money and status. I think kyle has a more natural beauty but i think she feels threatened by camille. I think camille unintenionally brings it on herself a lot though. Many caps do remind me of mean girls and ring leaders. The fact that her own sister won’t. Stand up for her says a lot. I believe in loyalty to family but kyle won’t let her have her own opinion so she rebels. Like the other virgo camille. Kyle is stubborn and doesn’t let things go easily which is not a great attribute. If you hold grudges you are weak in my opinion. She loses her cool easy too.
I think the reason people want to defend Kyle Richards abysmal treatment of her too sweet sister Kim are the kinds of people who enjoy watching someone suffer. I am sure that if you think that a woman who constantly has to tell a camera that she is a nice person and then talks smack about her sister Kim to Kim’s CHILDREN is a cold, cruel and polarizing bullying bitch. Camille – Major class A B&^TCH, if she hadnt gotton into it with Kyle, I’m sure it would have been with someone else.

I know people disagree about Kyle being a bully, but there is something going on with her. This lady has issues that she needs to deal with and I question just how much those issues have to do with her sisters rumored drinking/drug problem. I believe she is a bully. If you don’t agree with her, she is raining fire down on you. Telling her friends and acquaintances her sisters deepest darkest secrets and problems, and then setting back and watching them use that information as a whooping stick on her sister – makes her the ring leader and even the cause in someways, of the abuse her sister Kim is receiving from other women in the cast.

She invited people to be on the show. Most of the girls are her close friends. Seems like this is her circus. The kicker for me is, why would she invite her sister to be on the show, if she has such harsh feelings for her and thinks she’s got a substance abuse problem? Why invite her to be apart of something and turn around and treat her like #@$* and even allow her to be treated like #$@%* by other cast mates? If she has a drinking problem and the family members know about it, why expose her on national TV to the world?!!
I hate it that she keeps going on and on about how Kim doesn’t have her back! Wasn’t Kim the only sister that came to Kyles’s daughters graduation?? I heard the real reason the Hilton’s didn’t show up is because they didn’t want to be on the show. They gotta be the stars not the supporting cast. But Kim was there. Kim had her back. Why does Kyle seem to act like it never happened just because Kim didn’t say what she wanted her to in NY?
To this day, Kim still hasn’t confirmed what was said between Kyle and Camille. Could it be, Kim is supporting Kyle, by not outting her and revealing Kyle actually did say those things to Camille? Is Kyle really pissed because Kim won’t lie for her??
I’m soooo not a Kyle fan. I’m looking forward to next season to see how carma comes back on her.
I really do not think kyle is a mean girl. I am a fan of kyle. But I do think that she does treat her sister kind of wrong. If kyle knows her sister have a drinking problem she knows that she does not think the same way as other people do when she is drinking. I think that she really did not have to have her sister back when she was getting it on with camille because kyle can take care if herself. I think that big lip woman just tries to get between kyle and kim and puts on like she is kyle friend but I do think kim is right about her that she is not kyle friend. I think lisa is a real friend to kyle. I think that big lip woman has so many problems with her husband that she makes out like she is not having problem then she takes it out on kim.
Yes, Kyle is abbusive to Kim. I think she put her on a show so that she can show her dominance over Kim. Every sigle episode she was mean to Kim, laghed at her, pushed her around, blamed her for thing that did not even happened (Camilles dinner), never defended her and allowe Taylor to bully her without any sign of defending Kim. She is toxic for Kim. I feel so bad for Kim to put up with such a torment. On one hand they are a family. And on the other hand dealing with such a trgic attidue is hard to watch, yet Kim has to leave with it. Kim, sometimes you have to take care of your needs more so then trying to hold family together. If it makes you sick and unhappy, distance yourself. You ahve 4 kids. SO, you do have a family. Kyle is a disgrace for Bravo channel.
I have watched all the shows and what I see is
1)Lisa is a spoiled rotten busy body
2)Kyle IS a the one who starts all the fights~she seems VERY insecure to me.Hope her husband wakes up and dumps her.
3)Taylor seems very broken and very sad…seems to stay in the marriage for money ONLY.
4)Camille is a self indulgent air head
and Addrienne appears the ONLY decent one on the show.
OK. From Day one, Kyle Richards has dissed her sister Kim, constantly asking Kim to have her back, yet sit’s quietly while her friend Taylor, pick’s fights with Kim, then blames Kim for it! Ok Kyle, where is tha “Having your sister’s back” thing when it comes to you? Also, Kyle did make a rude comment about Camille having a surrogate, implying it was to protect her figure, in the scene where Adrienne flew them off on a Private plane to watch her basketball team play. If either of my sister’s treated me the way Kim does Kyle, I would have a drink too! Lucky for me, I have not had a sister who had so much jealousy and hatred for me that they try and beat me up. Classy!
After watching the series of BHHW, I truly believe Kyle is a psychopath, manipulative and pathelogical liar. Kyle has demonstrated that she shows very little remorse for her mentally and abusive behavior toward others that stand up to her such as Camille and Kim.
Camille is very soft spoken and did not know how to deal with a pyscho like Kyle who spews bile & venom from her mouth with attacks, cursing and accusations such as delusional, alcoholic etc and then claming they need mental help quickly. That is a Kyle tactic when she cannot win an argument to divert the attention from her disgusting actions and then try to play the victim and martyr. On top of that she gets her robos, Lisa and Taylor as her mouthpiece. There very little to like about Kyle, she seems rotten to the core and is all about herself and cares very little for others.
I truly believe she is jealous and envious of Camille who is beautiful, independently wealthy, and much more talented than Kyle. Infact, Camille has had very good exposure on TV and will be hosting the on CNN which is more than what Kyle is getting which is a tsunami backlash of extrememly negative publicity for herself and her family after showing her ugly vile true colors.
Kyle is also very jealous of her sister Kim who clearly overshadowed her in their younger years where Kim was clearly the Star and breadwinner of the family. As far as Kyle is concerned it is her payback to Kim, the abuse for being the loser of the family when they were young and not being able to make it in Hollywood but chose the easy way out and got pregnant,married young and always had someone support her. Yes that is Kyle’s accomplishment.

Obviously you are a freien or fam of Kyles. I am a fan of neither. I have a sister who has had problems with alcohol. In fact, she has terminal problems with her health now because of her early days drinking. I have another sister that is the middle daughter, I like Kyle am the youngest. Yet, Neither sister nor myself would get up on television and express our anger as her mother made a dying request of her to look after her sibling! Come on, did you even watch the show. I only spoke about what I saw Kyle lie about in regards to Camille, its on the show, watch it, she did assume Camille usedd a surrogate for her figure, and she did from day one diss her sister. So from Moron to Moron, re-watch the damen show! Make a game of it, add up how many times Kyle insist that Kim should have her back, and how many times she turns around and puts Kim down, belittles her, or, stands by and smirks while she allows her buddies to harrass her sister, a real sister, wether or not “we” are having issues with each other, defend the sister first! Blood is thicker than water, and Kyle is lucky that she has not lost a sibling yet, I HAVE. Appreciate them, love them and be loyal to them while you still have them, and Kyle need’s to call her Dog Taylor off of Kim. But she wont, she will blame Kim for whatever crap Taylor wants to do or say to fight with Kim, and then blame Kim.
Oh, and as far as Kim “not” getting involved in the Camille thing, one she obviously was caught off gaurd and nervous, then Taylor threatens her (way to go Taylor, go on and promote Domestic Violence when you affiliate yourself with a charity helping victims of DV) K
im since then has gone public with her version that supports her sister, but NEVER does Kyle give any credit to Kim. And from what the program showed, Kim did’nt start the fights with Taylor, she was responding. It cracks me up when Taylor, despite what was shown and in re-run deflects her own actions by skirting around her answer and then finds some way to say she didnt do whatever anyone ask. Never does she take responsibility, and she is stupid ganging up on Kim, Kyle and Kim will make up, they are sisters, then where is taylor going to be? If Kyle really loves her sister, Taylor will be out. Nothing trumps a sister.
