At the age of nine, Courtney was diagnosed as schizoid by a perverted psychologist. Afterward, her mom moved to New Zealand with her new hubby and half sisters, leaving Courtney behind. Courtney feeling abandoned, went to live with her step father.
In the Behind the Music interview, Courtney Love admits she was a fame whore since the age of ten, she was obsessed with becoming a star. At 12, she tried out for the Mouseketeers and was denied. After she had a falling out with her step father’s wife, he kicked her out of the house. Abandoned as a teenager, she was forced into a horrific foster care life. Bouncing around from home to home, being molested, and other tragic experiences.
During the interview, fans get to see what makes Courtney Love great is rebellion, what makes her impossible is her rebellion. She’s a survivor, driven to become a rockstar, she even fronted the band, Faith No More for a few months.
Later she hooked up and married legend Kurt Cobain and the rest is rock and roll history. If you believe conspiracy theories, some have accused her of his death. Sad! Of course we know that’s not true and tragically Kurt Cobain committed suicide. A troubled soul who Courtney Love tried to heal with her love but she was not match for his addiction.

Rolling Stone who calls Love “the most controversial woman in the history of rock,” seems less rebellious and comes across with a chick who has LOTS of regrets.
Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain a Leo, will turn 18 in August 2010. It’s reported she will inherit a sizable portion of the Cobain estate. That is what’s left of it.
