Bachelorette Ali kicked one of the hottest guys to the curb last night, Jesse. What was she thinking? She whispered in his ear that she thought they didn’t match up. Really? I guess he’s too cute for her. Instead, she kept cheeseball Casey, sweaty Frank, and Chris N who never says one word.

As a fan, have you ever wondered what the Bachelorette audition process is like? I know Astrochicks has. When Deanna was cast as the Bachelorette, she reportedly was not paid for her appearance, nor were the other guys. Fast forward to today,  it appears not only was Bachelorette Ali our picky Virgo girl paid, but a few of the other guys as well.

In a new article on Radar Online, Jesse Csincsak is revealing for the first time what each Bachelorette contestant has to go through, to be chosen as one of the top 25.

Not only do they have to agree to a grueling background check, which includes a six-hour test with 1200 questions, they must have a session with a psychologist, blood and alcohol test, before getting to meet their potential future bride or groom.

Some of the highlights include: being flown to Los Angeles and put up in a hotel. The test is shoved under your hotel door and you’re asked “Do you love your mother?” I wonder if they ask “Do you love Mike Fleiss?” After 24 hours, contestants are flown back home.

What was most interesting, is the chosen Bachelor or Bachelorette, are asked to reveal their final four to the producers BEFORE the show even starts.  This is based on only first impressions. Which means of course, this is how the love story between Bachelorette Ali and her final guy is created?  Each episode has a storyline producer, who gets to decide what type of dates the Bachelor/Bachelorette will go on, who will get the one on one date, etc. and possible advice on who she should send home. Which would explain why Bachelorette Ali might choose Casey over Jesse. I wonder if Casey is that cheesy in real life or the producers asked him to ham it up?

Of course if you’re the lucky guy or girl who is chosen as Prince or Princess Charming, ABC has the right to air your wedding, make you a guest host on various entertainment shows, etc.  Immediately following, a chance to extend your 15 minutes of fame. Sounds exhausting.

After watching the hot kiss between Bachelorette Ali and Chris Lambton last night, Astrochicks is back to Team Chris again. How could she resist that guy, he’s absolutely yummy!
