In her new video, Miley Cyrus tries to be sexy in “Can’t be Tamed” but ends up looking more like  a drag queen. Scantily clad in S&M gear, she rolls around in a cage with bird feathers flying everywhere looking absolutely ridiculous.

Trying to escape her squeaky clean Disney image, it appears she may gone to far and is trying imitate Lady Gaga or Madonna. At the age of 17, she can’t really pull it off yet. All her fans see is lovable and cute Hannah Montana.

Even her lyrics, “If you’re going to be my man, understand, I can’t be tamed,” As Cyrus gyrates with her male dancers “I’m a puzzle but all my pieces are jagged.” Seriously, who wrote these lyrics? Sounds more like a Britney Spears song.

Miley Cyrus says, “The video isn’t about being sexy or about who can wear less clothes,” she told “I don’t want to be in a cage. I want to be free and do what I love.”

Gary Marsh, president of entertainment for Disney Channel Worldwide, was quoted by Portfolio magazine to have said, “For Miley Cyrus to be a ‘good girl’ is now a business decision for her. Parents have invested in her a godliness. If she violates that trust, she won’t get it back.”

Miley, a wild Sagittarius girl definitely has that stubborn streak.  I think Miley needs to put Mommy’s dress up clothes away and stick to what made her famous. Otherwise, she may be heading down a slippery slope and find her music career stalled by 21. On the flip side, I think long term acting is where she will find the most success in the future. Put the bird cage away girl, you look silly.
