Bret Michaels, lead singer of Poison and Rock of Love reality star, was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night. Suffering a massive brain hemorrhage, doctors are reporting he’s been placed in intensive care and the next 48 hours will be critical to his recovery.
His father has broken his silence about his son’s condition: “I talked to him this morning,. He sounded upbeat and positive but they had him sedated,” Sychak told RadarOnline.com. “But he’s doing good. He sounded like my son.”
Sychak told RadarOnline.com that Bret’s two daughters, ex-girlfriend, Kristi Lynn Gibson, and his tour manager are currently at the hospital with him.
His Poison bandmate, Rikki Rockett, provided a Twitter update on Michaels earlier this evening. He says, I am confirming that Bret’s condition is serious. Please respect his family and the band’s privacy until we have more information.
Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. We love ya Bret. Get well soon!!!
