Wow, what a bummer. I can’t believe one of favorite Hollywood couples have called it quits. It was announced today that “Actress Susan Sarandon and her honey of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins, have announced that they separated over the summer,” Sarandon’s representative Teal Cannaday said in a statement.

A representative for Robbins could not immediately be reached for comment. The couple were not married, but they have two sons together. For years, they have been one of the tinsel towns most enduring couples, known for their film work as well as their social and political activism.

Sexy Susan, a Libra, oozes charm and is a romantic at heart. I imagine the split has hit her hard.  Tim a Libra as well, is probably just as heartbroken. I wonder if the age difference finally caught up with them?

Interesting to make an announcement a couple of days before Christmas. Nothing like saying “it’s over” to kick off the New Year.
