I think its love.  Mayer the player, oozing his Libra charm, is sticking up for the “King of the Egos” , James Cameron. Why? Cameron, was caught by TMZ, acting surly towards a fan after they asked for a autograph at LAX. They even caught it on video, how convenient.

Mayer said on his blog…

“But James Cameron doesn’t think about public relations at the airport. He’s a movie director,” Mayer wrote. “He doesn’t understand the media shuffle, and I’m glad he hasn’t given any thought to it. It’s actually a waste of brain matter, and a slippery slope of compromise.”

Seriously John, you don’t think Cameron understands the media shuffle? The guy who wrote and directed both Titanic and Avatar. He definitely understands it, he just doesn’t give a crap. Maybe John is hoping Mr. Avaturd will use one of his songs in his next movie.
