This weekend, Alexa Ray Joel, the daughter of Billy Joel and Christine Brinkley was rushed to the hospital. Her roommate found her having trouble breathing after she had taken several pills. Was it an overdose?

NY Times reported, Ms. Joel’s roommate called 911 about 12:20 p.m. to report an “emotionally disturbed person” was “having trouble breathing” at her West Village apartment, the official said. The authorities did not know what type of pills she swallowed or whether she took them accidentally or on purpose, the official said.

Ms. Joel, 23, was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan, where she was listed in stable condition. Ms. Brinkley was with her.

Very sad, Alexa, a Capricorn girl has hit troubled times. It’s probably difficult to live in the shadows of a very famous mother and father. Especially a father who likes to date women your own age.
