KATE GOSSELIN, Teary Eyed Says Goodbye to Married Life and Hello Single Momhood!!!

On Monday, the final season of Jon & Kate: Plus Eight will air its last episode. In case you haven’t heard, the beloved kate-gosselin-bikinicouple is now getting a divorce and Jon has a new 22 year old girlfriend. So Hollywood.

The first four seasons, “Jon & Kate” had a cult like following but they kept a low profile. No gossip stories, just a regular family with loads of kids. Their obsessed fans argued on message boards over Kate’s controlling behavior and Jon’s maddening passive-aggressive behavior.

Now, the bitter couple are weekly fodder for rag mags and gossip blogs. Jon who is acting like a teenager with raging hormones, continues to embarrass himself and family while he dates a new honey each week. His new girlfriend, makes regular press appearances to announce how Jon lies to her and treats her like crap. Really? The guy just left his wife with 8 kids.

In the end, I feel sad for Kate Gosselin. It’s not easy being a single mom, especially one who is in the media eye, and has 8 kids to take care of. Who is she going to date? Whose going to help her with the kids? Meanwhile, Jon gets to run off and chase little girls who only want to date him because he’s a reality star.

There are no winners in this except of maybe TLC. Jon & Kate has been a cash cow for them and they will continue to ride the money train when Kate Plus Eight airs next year. I wonder who they will add as her love interest?
