Wow, I still can’t believe that DJ AM has passed. Today, it was reported, that Adam’s mom and sister have filed an amended wrongful death lawsuit over the 2008 plane crash. His family feels that tragic accident which caused him to be badly burned and hospitalized led him to his untimely death.
“As a direct result” of the crash, DJ AM “was severely injured and damaged and ultimately died” because of the incident, according to the amended court paperwork posted on Radar Online.
According to the court papers posted on the site, the estate, which includes Goldstein’s mother, Andrea Gross, and his sister, Lara Long, claim they have suffered a host of damages from DJ AM’s death including the “loss of the future contributions from the” celebrity spinner and “the loss of the decedent’s love, companionship, comfort, affection, society, solace and moral support.”
They also claim they have “suffered mental shock and… wounded feelings, grief and sorrow.” As a result of DJ AM’s death, the estate claims they have lost his “knowledge and judgment in business affairs” as well as “lost inheritance,” “loss of earnings and earning capacity” and “funeral expenses.”
So sad, thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
