It’s amazing how many times our system failed Jaycee Lee Duggard. How many other young girls or boys have suffered the same fate because of our crappy justice system? Serious sex offenders CANNOT be rehabilitated if they have committed rape against a child. Period. They are predators.

It’s now being reported, Phillip Garrido, the scum that kidnapped Jaycee, also did the same thing to a 14 year old girl in 1972 but the charges against him were dropped. Why? Because the scared young girl refused to testify.

An Antioch police spokesman said: “The victim was at the library with a fiend and they met Garrido and another man. They got in a car and Garrido provided barbiturates.

“There was a period where she ended up with Garrido at a motel, she was repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted. At some point a day or two later her mother and father find her there and Garrido is still there.”

Garrido was arrested on April 17 1972 and charged with rape, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and providing drugs to a minor.

Asked whether he thought Garrido had other as yet unknown victims, a police spokesman replied “I think there’s a good chance of that.”

Our system needs to be overhauled. Such a sad story, hopefully Jaycee and her two children can find some peace in their new life.
