Hayley Wood, the former girlfriend of DJ AM, had posted on her blog “what is love without loss.”  A very poetic comment written a few weeks before DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) died of a drug overdose. A Scorpio girl, she also wrote “you were where we are, we will be where you are.”

According to reports, Adam was devastated over the recent break up with Hayley. Friends took him out on August 21st to cheer him up.

Previously, Adam an Aries, was engaged to Nicole Ritchie and also dated Mandy Moore. An inspiration to many, he had overcome many obstacles in his life. Drug addiction, weight loss, a broken engagement, and a horrific plane crash.

Sadly, he could not escape the temptation and the demons of the deadly disease of addiction. What a tragic ending for such a beautiful artist. May he rest in peace.
