Sweet Cancer girl, Jessica Simpson, had a heart to heart talk with Glamour magazine recently. She talks about life, love, and feeling fat. When asked about her romance with Tony Romo she said the following.
“If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love him, and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today.”
Her 2006 divorce was like death:
“It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again. It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete—and that’s the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person.”
And the media sucks for making women feel bad about their bodies:
“When I was young, I would look at magazines and feel a lot of pressure. As a child of 12, I would write things in my journal like, ‘I’m lying here and all I can think about is that my stomach is hanging over my underwear.’ That disturbs me even today!…I absolutely, 100 percent do not agree with how the media has made everyone [body] obsessed. And they do have the power to do it.”
I really like Jessica Simpson and I love her shoe line. I agree, the media is way too tough on how girls look. I think most girls would love to have a figure like her.
I wonder who Jessica should date next? Maybe Bradley Cooper? He’s a Capricorn and she’s a Cancer, they say opposites attract.
