It looks like Robert Pattinson could use a vacation. In a new interview, our Taurus boy is reportedly “terrified” of American fans. Why? I guess they are very aggressive, constantly grabbing him, tearing his clothes, etc. Calm down girls.

The 23-year-old actor is sick of New York and its women, according to the Daily News. He is eagerly looking forward to wrapping up filming for his new film “Remember Me” and head back home to London.

“Robert is dying to get back home,” an unnamed source said. “He’s so over everything. He’s overwhelmed by all the girls — they terrify him! He says girls grab his neck and clothing all of the time, and he’s not used to that. Fans don’t do that to him in London.”

Pattinson has tried to keep a low profile while shooting on location in Manhattan, but his legion of fans are reportedly still tracking him down.

“He’s embarrassed by the way girls throw themselves at him. The girls here are stalking him. He stayed in two different hotels over the course of four days just to try to escape the fans who were following him,” the source said. “He’s afraid that if he gives a hand, they’ll take the whole arm. He’s being advised by security not to encourage the crowd, so he doesn’t even look up anymore.”

Poor Robert, he needs to go home and just chill for awhile. Obviously, that won’t happen. New Moon hits the theaters in a few months and it will start all over again.
