What’s up with the “Real Housewives of New Jersey”? Last week, Teresa Guidice’s ran up a $120k furniture bill and her hubby pays in cash? What kind of contractor is he? Hellooo dialing the IRS.  Guidice says, “I hear the economy’s crashing, that’s why I pay cash. Seriously, $120k cash in $100 dollar bills?

The big show shocker is the resident MILF, Danielle Staub. The woman you love to hate with a seedy past AND a very nasty arrest record. In a recent Nightline interview, Staub revealed the following: “I’m just going to say I am a work in progress,” she said. “If people have issues with me, I am not going to apologize for [it]. That’s their problem. But I am, have been, a loner my whole life. And I’m OK. I’m still around.”

Staub changed her name and started a new life in New Jersey, and was perhaps trying to put her past behind her. Even with the negative publicity, the revelation has brought her, Staub said she isn’t apologetic about being a part of “The Real Housewives.”

In fact, according to Gawker.com, Staub ratted out a a high-level drug dealer from Medellín. With her testimony, he received 15 years in federal prison. The only problem is now he’s out and according to her ex hubby, Maher, he’s probably looking for her. He says,  “What do you think he’s gonna do when he sees her face on TV and knows exactly where she lives? She’s got to be out of her fucking mind.” She probably is. But Bravo is not, and Maher says the network should have known that, given Staub’s past, letting her pursue her own aggrandizement on their air might have consequences: “How culpable is Bravo going to be when this woman gets killed?”

Seems melodramatic but who knows maybe it’s true. I don’t feel sorry for Staub. She’s dumb like  a fox and laughing all the way to the bank. Ratings gold.
