How sad, David Carradine has passed. At first media speculated that he committed suicide, now his reps are saying it was an accidental death by hanging. In fact, rumor is it was in a very unusual way, autoerotic asphyxiation.

An officer on the scene described finding Carradine’s naked body hanging in his closet with rope around his neck as well as “other body parts”. They weren’t specific, but we can take a guess at what they are hinting at.

Carradine failed to show up to dinner with his crew and friends of the movie Stretch, which he was shooting at the time, on Wednesday but his comrades assumed he took a break because of his age. He was found this morning by the hotel maid, dead.

In 1997, Michael Hutchence died under peculiar circumstances. The coroner believed it was suicide but other doctors felt based on the way he was found, it was autoerotic asphyxiation.

David a Sag, was born on December 8, 1936 and was 72 years old. Carradine was married five times and had two daughters, Calista Miranda and Kansas. Each of his first four marriages ended in divorce. On December 26, 2004, he married Annie at the seaside Malibu home of his friend, Michael Madsen. The ceremony was performed by his attorney and his wife’s longtime friend, Vicki Roberts. The marriage lasted until Carradine died. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
