In Vin Diesel’s “Fast and Furious” ride to the box office this weekend, he blew the doors off ticket sales. It raked in over $70 million dollars, putting the star back on the top of the A-list.

What some fans may not know is he has a soft side. What is it? Last year, when his girlfriend was in labor, he helped deliver his baby girl. Our sweet Cancer boy, is all about family, and friends.

In fact, action star Vin Diesel ignored his ‘Fast & Furious’ co-star Paul Walker’s advice about avoiding the delivery room when his girlfriend went into labour. The actor terms the experience of witnessing his child’s birth as “priceless”.

Diesel’s model girlfriend Paloma Jimenez gave birth to a daughter one year ago, and the star was around to assist in the delivery process.

The actor revealed he only stepped into the delivery room after choosing to defy Walker’s tips and he’s overjoyed he did, Contactmusic reported.

“I didn’t tell anybody (about the birth). I didn’t want cameras around us I wanted it to be as natural as possible. The only person I told was Paul Walker. And I said to Paul, ‘Should I be in the delivery room?’ and he says, ‘You know, don’t do it, you can’t stomach it.’, said Diesel.

“(But) it’s the best thing you’ll ever do in your life and, with that confidence, I marched into the delivery room. I was more present than I could’ve ever dreamed of (being) but the bonding that it allowed with my daughter is priceless,” Diesel said.

Astrologically, it may look like wedding bells for the beautiful couple. Stay tuned.
