In a new interview, Mindy from Rock of Love Bus, says she is still heartbroken over rocker Bret Michaels. In fact, she 
even says she had an “emotional breakdown” over him. I wonder if she would have felt the same way if he was a regular dude working as a construction worker?
“I never expected to like Bret the way I did, but after a few weeks, I was like, “Oh no. I’m falling for this guy. Are you kidding me?”
After being rejected during the final episode, Mindy confessed that she had a breakdown. The pain was such an intense experience for her that she simply couldn’t stop crying. “I had a complete breakdown in the bathroom of the resort we were in. It was the first time I had been really by myself. I was standing against the wall. I realized it was totally quiet and I was by myself and it just hit me. I slid down the wall and just sat there with my head between my knees and just cried and cried and cried. It was sad.”
“I did fall in love with him,” she continued. “I did. I know people are going to think that’s completely insane coming from a reality show, but I really did. Everybody who knows me knows that the only reason I did and said the stuff I did was because I love him.”
Regarding her former friend Taya’s relationship with Bret, Mindy was bold enough to say that she thinks they won’t last. “I never saw in her eyes what I was feeling in my heart about Bret. I was in love and I just didn’t see that in her eyes.”
She’s a cute girl but please. The guy is a rockstar, that’s why she fell in love with him. Who knows maybe she will get her own show out of it.
My heart goes out for Mindy, I realize Taya is being hit with a lot of negativity because Bret chose her, yet in the end Mindy was the best fit for Bret, not the opposite. Mindy actually fell in love with Bret, she’s a home town girl so she was not as animated as the rest of the women on the show. We all need to give Taya and Bret a chance together but his best choice would have been Mindy. Mindy is the long haul, she is not the quick ‘let’s see what you got’ and if it’s not delivered, gone. She looks to be the housewife, lover, mother type, would not be out as much as Bret, but home waiting for him. If Bret is true to himself and us the viewers of his show he would respect the kind of woman Mindy is and be faithful, loving, and devoted to her, because Mindy would be all that to Bret. Give Mindy another chance before you and vh1 decide to do a #4.
