What is it with the religiously repressed. According to the Asbury Park News, the newest housewife, Danielle
Staub, goes to church weekly. Is that to repent her sins of having an affair with a 26 year old, or being engaged 19 times? She definitely is a MILF, at the age of 45, she looks like she’s 30 at the most. I think she will DEFINITELY be the most controversial character on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
Danielle Staub: She’s a single mom of two daughters who goes to church regularly and was one of the first women in the state to become an American Express Black card member. She’s good friends with Jacqueline and says, “You either love me or you hate me, there is no in between.”
I think Danielle likes to contradict herself. According to the sneak preview episode, her wealthy husband is dragging out their divorce, and she is going bankrupt. How can you be going bankrupt and have an American Express Black card? The question is, does she still have it, or did that go bye bye with her hubby?
She better hustle her butt back to church, it’s time for a confessional.

Gotta disagree here – Danielle does NOT look “30 at the most”…in fact, with all the plastic parts, she looks like a very creepy 50 year old department store mannequin!
Now…about the whole Danielle and religion thing – I know it has become a big joke that Catholics are the worst sinners (and therefore the most hypocritical) because we can just “go repent” every Sunday and all our misdeeds are forgiven. You’re going to find hypocrites and “fair-weather” believers in ANY religious group or organization. As a Catholic believer, a Catholic mother, a Catholic wife, and a Catholic woman, it hurts me to hear all the Church-bashing just because of a few bad (albeit very public!) apples. I certainly don’t teach my kids that they can just go out and do whatever they want because God forgives all – that doesn’t mean I have to talk about hell to keep them on the straight and narrow…teaching the “Golden Rule” is the way to go!
Having said all that – I don’t know Danielle/Beverly or whatever her name is, and she certainly doesn’t strike me as someone I would enjoy spending time with (as she said, she owes more to Nieman-Marcus right now than my family makes in 6 months…that alone shows the difference in our priorities!!!), but I don’t know if she’s as bad as all the TALK and PRESS has made her out to be.
…and wouldn’t it be hypocritical for ME (as a Catholic) to presume to JUDGE HER lmao?!?!
Great site, by the way…keep it up, I look forward to seeing what you have to say next.
Peace
