Melissa Rycroft hit the red carpet this week with her new beau Tye in tow. She looked absolutely glowing and so happy. She wears a broken heart well. I guess Jason made the right decision for both of them.

Melissa Rycroft and her boyfriend Tye Strickland walked their first red carpet together at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood party Wednesday.

The first to arrive, they showed up holding hands at Hollywood hot spot My House. The 26-year-old Rycroft — who was honored for her glam new look since her split with Bachelor Jason Mesnick — admitted all the attention was overwhelming.

“I feel like I am a normal girl in L.A. now!” said the Dallas native, who was spotted practicing some moves with her DWTS partner Tony Dovolani in their booth throughout the night. “It’s weird. It’s awesome. It’s so surreal.”

Astrologically, I think Melissa’s career is on fire. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tye pops the question this Christmas. Lets hope she gets it right this time.
