In breaking news, Bravo decided to add a REAL SINGER to the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kandi Burruss,  a singer-songwriter from the platinum-selling ’90s R&B girl group Xscape is our new girl.

The multi-talented Burruss, is considered the most well known member from Xscape. She’s also a SUPER SUCCESSFUL songwriter. She wrote TLC’s 1999 smash hit “No Scrubs.” Burruss has also penned jams for Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Boyz II Men, Alicia Keys, and Faith Evans. Also, her MySpace page says she has sold over 56 million records. BAM!!! She must be SUPA DUPA RICH!!!

Kandi has a daughter, 6-year-old Riley, from a previous relationship, and a boyfriend. Who’s her main squeeze? We don’t know yet.

I wonder what kind of dramafest will ensue? I see her butting heads with Kim Zolciak the most. No word on what sign she is, according to her official website she is 32 years old.  I can’t wait till the new season starts, it should be good.
