Hot off the press, Melissa Rycroft will be joining the new season of Dancing With the Stars. She is replacing Nancy O’Dell, who dropped out of the show due to a knee injury. I’m so EXCITED for Melissa. She’s obviously a great dancer and I think she has a strong chance to be in the final three. Eat your heart out Jason and Molly.

Melissa Rycroft, 25, will fill in for “Access Hollywood” host Nancy O’Dell, who pulled out of the hit reality show thanks to a knee injury, People magazine reports.

“Girls Next Door” star Holly Madison will shimmy into the vacancy left by singer Jewel, a Playboy insider tells the Daily News.

Rycroft made headlines last week after she was abruptly dumped by her fiance, “The Bachelor” star Jason Mesnick on live T.V. Mesnick ditched the bubbly former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader in favor of  down-to-Earth blond Molly Malaney.

I think Holly and Melissa are excellent choices and I will definitely be watching this season. Stay tuned. It should be loads of fun with Steve-O on board.
