I guess there is still no love between Axl Rose and Slash. It’s unfortunate, Guns N’ Roses was such an amazing band. It still is a great band but I prefer the old line up versus the new one. Can’t we all just get along?

In a new interview, Axl Rose has said, in rather unequivocal terms, there’s no hope for a Guns N’ Roses reunion, calling former bandmate Slash a “cancer.”

“In a nutshell, personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided — and the less anyone heard of him or his supporters the better,” Rose said, calling Slash “a whore for the limelight.”

While Rose saves his vitriol for Slash, he seems to have no qualms about collaborating with Duff McKagan, but seems less than enthused about working with Stephen Adler, who has battled addiction, or Izzy Stradlin, whom Yahoo! News described as not “reliable.”

I guess the Aquarius rocker has spoken. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, GNR fans, but it seems your hopes of a reunion are dashed. I guess Axl doesn’t need the money or the drama.
