What happens when you get a bunch of old dudes get together to film an action movie? They get hurt. Sylvester Stallone, who has made a living portraying tough guys on the big screen, may be showing signs of his age as the 62-year-old actor was injured while practicing a fight scene for his new film “The Expendables.”
The injury was said to be Stallone’s thumb but it is not expected to delay filming. Stallone is directing the flick which will include Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham and centers around a group of mercenaries who have been enlisted to overthrow a dictator. The film is scheduled to be shot in Brazil and Louisiana.
Stallone who is a Cancer, will continue his billion dollar franchise with a new Rambo film set for 2010. Rumor is Rourke will play his arch nemesis in the new film. Should be good.
