In the best Bachelor season ever, we FINALLY get to see Deanna and Jason reunite. Why in the world in New Zealand?
Obviously for ratings, but still it seems a bit desperate on her part. Also, what a total joykill for Jason and the rest of the girls. Could you imagine? You’re finally moving on with your life and your ex boyfriends shows up on your romantic holiday. I would be MAD AS HELL.
The brunette beauty tells “Extra” the reason she called off her engagement. “I believe that we all make mistakes in life and we learn from them… it came down to two totally different people. Jason [Mesnick], who has it all together has everything a woman would want. And then there’s Jesse, who kind of was like a wild card.” Pappas admits, “For me, I felt like the wild card was going to work out. Someone to keep me on my toes. Eventually, it wasn’t what I was attracted to anymore.”
Jesse has moved on and he’s currently dating “The Bachelor: London Calling” alum Holly Durst. Csinscak and Durst told “Extra” in January they were introduced by a mutual friend at a club. Pappas reveals, “Jesse and Holly met while we were seeing each other.”
Come on Deanna, quit taking a dig at Jesse. So what if he met Holly while you were together. How many reality stars meet each other at various parties, etc.? Rumor is Deanna is dating a reality star as well, one of the former stars of Real World. One fan called her a “Fame Vampire.” I like that term.
I’m glad the Deanna and Jason episode has arrived so the poor guy can move on. Should be a good drama fest.
I’m looking forward to tonight’s episode. I wonder if she pops up in the “fantasy date” episode just because of timing – maybe that’s when she broke up with Jesse. I can’t believe that she would go right back to Jason – that was not the reason she gave for the breakup with Jesse.
I can’t believe Jason would entertain the idea for a minute. DeAnna just wanted more face time on television.
My main question is something I heard Jason say on (I think) Bonnie Hunt’s show. Something about how he fell in love with 2 people and the morning of the proposal he didn’t know who he would choose. That seems nuts, doesn’t it? I mean would you want someone to seriously propose marriage to you when THAT VERY MORNING you were contemplating being in love with someone else? I don’t know why they aren’t a little more attracted to the person that they finally choose.
At least with Trista – you could see something special grow with her and Ryan …
Next week is that “ladies talk back” show they torture us with before the finale – it’s supposed to be 2 hours this year – should be interesting.
It’s been a great season.
From a factual standpoint, DeAnna introduced Jesse to Holly back in late September. He posted pictures on the former DeannaandJesse.com back then. There was even a picture of Holly and Deanna posing together with a rose. Now, if she is taking a stab at Jesse, is it because he hooked up with a woman, who was her friend, almost immediately after they broke up? Was it not Astrochicks who said that Jesse would be on some red carpet with “some hoochie” within 2 weeks? Well, Holly was in Breck within two weeks. He posted pics so that all would know – including DeAnna. I don’t know if she is a hoochie but fair is fair. I’m not the biggest DeAnna fan but she was polite by saying they met while they were still engaged. Jesse is dating her, I’m sure, former friend. I think that breaks some kind of girlfriend code, doesn’t it?
I see your point. I think most fans understand that some relationships just don’t work out. I think it’s the way she ended her relationship with Jesse, he seemed blindsided, and even Chris Harrison came to his rescue. Basically, throwing Deanna under the bus and said she had her head filled with “Hollywood.”
I do think her appearance on the Bachelor is a ratings ploy. Also, I think that Jesse’s career has more longevity than Deanna’s.
I think Holly was an acquaintance of Deanna’s and I wouldn’t really consider them friends. I don’t Jesse owes her any loyalty when she dumps you at the airport. Not cool.
They have both moved on and I hope each finds happiness.
At this point, and before DeAnna’s contract is up, we have only heard Jesse’s side. Chris Harrison changed his tune and said that “things didn’t work out and he is friends with both of them.” He threw DeAnna under the bus based on his convos with Jesse. Whatever the case, it’s not like some random friend introduced him as Jesse implied. They are all part of the same “family” and Deanna knew Holly first. He was with her almost immediately after the breakup which makes his tears less credible. Everybody deserves to move on but we don’t have to make one person the bad person when things don’t work out. Jesse is the one with the websites, the facebook and the myspace accounts which document everything and have Holly plastered all over the place.
Did DeAnna get off the plane and dump him or did she dump him because they took a break and he demanded do know where he stood the minute she got off of the plane? I am POSITIVE that there are multiple sides to this story and NEVER in the history of this show have people been so adamant about choosing sides … I don’t think that DeAnna has to be the sinner and Jesse the saint. It didn’t work. I don’t think it would have worked with the other 2 wimps in the top 3. DeAnna wants to be home, close to her family and now she has a “great” job where she can have everything she wants.
Jesse went on the show, according to Twilley, wanting more sponsors and his own reality show. He’s the one with a Hollywood armdoll at his side and posting about all of his Hollywood events. I don’t have a problem with it but there just seems to be a slight bit of transference here. He is everything he has accused DeAnna of being.
Trust, if DeAnna is really dating Ace Amerson, she’s not looking for life too far beyond where she is right now and if it works for her, it works for me.
