In a new People Magazine interview, when Jason Mesnick is asked about the “final rose” ceremony, it sounds like he’s back peddling on his choice. As we all know, from Reality Steve’s recent posts, Jason has a change of a heart, and dumps one girl for the other.

Have you found The One?
I have found the one. I am in love, without a doubt. I do see her as the one I want to marry and spend the rest of my life with. Everyone has been through ups and down in their life, and there are no guarantees when talking about love. I am living proof. I got married before and thought I’d be with her until death do us part, but we all know how that worked out. That said, I am very much in love and very hopeful.

So you were surprised to hear she and Jesse didn’t make it?
Yeah. I thought they were in love and legitimately happy. I really thought they were going to make it — that helped me get over her, as a matter of fact.

What do you see in the remaining two women?
Melissa is really that ultimate woman that is going to stand by your side forever. She’s fun. She’s beautiful and exciting and willing to try new things. Molly is the balance of a lot of different things. We have a great friendship going. There’s passion there. She’s got her eyes wide open to the world. They are both amazing — to use my favorite word — which made for a very, very tough decision.

I wonder what happened? Jason seemed like such a sincere guy. Normally, 25 hot chicks would NOT be fighting over an Account Executive, who is a single dad, and lives with his brother. Do you think Jason drank too much of the Kool Aid? Plus, aren’t both girls a bit young for him?

Jason a Cancer boy, is generally a loyal, and down to earth guy. Hopefully, no one else will get their heart broken after he makes the big switcheroo. Monday, should prove to be interesting. Poor Melissa.
